Hyde Park Medical Centre
Visited Dr. Sarita Kumar a few weeks ago. I have never cried in a doctors appointment due to the insensitivity of a medical professional. This woman should not be practising, especially with children or vulnerable people. Steer clear of this doctor if you expect empathy and judgement free care. The reception team narrowly missed being even worse than Dr Kumar with their professionalism, skill and all round manners.

Received appalling care from front reception staff and practice nurse in July 2022. They would not allow an appointment for my daughter, insisting on a covid test first. Would not do a carpark consult, which was possible. My daughter had scarlet fever and needed antibiotics. Thankfully house doctor was able to assist in the evening, however my daughter was extremely sick. Awful bullies.

I have had great experiences with Hyde Park Medical centre for the past six months. Everyone is polite, organised and kind. The online booking system is easy to use and if it’s an urgent appointment, I can always call and am able to get through quickly.

3 attempts to call. Put on hold when first call answered, but no one came back to the call. 2nd call, receptionist asked if I minded being put on hold, I said no due to being previously put on hold and forgotten. She put me on hold anyway without my consent. Called for a 3rd time, and apparently they are not accepting new patients despite their on hold message saying they ask new patients to hold the line. Rude receptionist. Waited on hold about 15 minutes. Pathetic.

Very rude reception staff. The doctors are fantastic, although the unwelcoming reception staff have ruined this for me. Changing practices.I really hope the person in charge are taking the current reviews seriously and actioning this, I would never have reception like that at my business.

Receptionist rude!But Dr Kuma is amazing five stars for her such a warm hearted anc caring doctor I have ever met when I told her my traumatic experience and mental health issues!She is very professional and responsible! She is the reason why I always go to this medical center!

Been going here for a bit over a year now. I would put 5 stars for the doctors as they are fantastic, very thorough and empathetic. However, the reception staff (in particular, Deanne and Kylie) are very rude a lot of the time, not just to myself but to a lot of other patients as well. I am going to look for another practice as they have ruined the environment unfortunately, especially when they have no empathy as I am dying from kidney disease and have auto immune diseases as well.
