Australia Post - Umina Beach LPO

Agree with others regarding passport renewal. Wish I would have read the reviews before wasting my time. A very frustrating experience! Don’t bother with these 3 employees. They need to move on. Been in the job too long. Seems like they have forgotten they are public servants & why they exist, to process customers business, not be on a power trip.

The worst post office rudest staffs especially the manager. Dont ever make passport there horrible experience they just dont do their work, hopeless i end up cancel and go to fast service..thought im in corrupted country cant believe it is in Australia.

Overcharged us and the guy was rude even before the sale went through. Refused to refund us and just threw 3 dollars in coins at us i stead of the 5 dollars that we were owed. Avoid at all costs!#roadto1stargooglerating

Absolutely agree with all the posts here about the manager of this post office. I've lived here for 10 + years and she has always been the same. Very scary. It is like being up at the Headmistress' Office. Better at Woy Woy or West Gosford.

had a package that was supposed to arrive and directed that if no one is home that the package will be dropped at the closest post office, however upon finding out that ill have to pick up a package i paid for delivery as they have taken it to Tuggerah depot which is an hour away, upon calling i was informed that they wont receive my package at all and that ill have to drive how can you be a post office if you cannot hold a package for half a day

Staff are mostly friendly but do NOT go here for a passport renewal. Lady was hopeless and both applications had to have photos retaken. Then they made us pay to have those photos resent. Rediculous.

This is the most unorganised post office to exist. I am not sure whether it is due to the managers lateness or staff lateness but every time I go there (for years now) the place opens late, the staff are quick-tempered and rude, and the whole operation seems to be in disarray. Everyone seems so angry and shocked when there's a lineup of customers waiting. I'm aware that a post office is a busy, fast-paced place but seriously- open on time at least and try to have a better attitude rather than negatively affect someone else's day, it's not that hard. I'll be going to Woy Woy or Ettalong instead. Anywhere else but here.

Please visit Ettalong PO instead of wasting your time at Umina and Woy Woy PO for Passport service. They won't accept the passport picture even after it met all the photo standards because I didn't get it clicked from them.Really hope the management realizes that they should be replaced with better and polite staff.

Poor customer service. Went in to renew my passport but it was plain they hated doing this. Their body language was negative at every turn. Tried to tap pay but the machine gave an error. The man was annoyed I didn't have a physical card. Had to go home get my card. The whole ordeal involved three visits and the details too long to list. If they don't like their job they should let others do it.I moved here from Berala where our local PO staff had to deal with a lot of non english speaking people and had many difficult situations under pressure of a long queue and they were always friendly and efficient.Take note Umina PO I'm not the only one on this forum with a negative impression.
