Harriet House Tumut
Harriet House is a gem in the ❤ of Tumut. While resort staff (and accompanying drinks cart) were few and far between the pool was cool and relaxing.The hotel definitely delivered on its promise of an included bed, and is to be commended on it's welcoming of bicycles and motorbikes. It may be worthwhile in future expanding bike acceptance to include non-binary cycles such as uni, tric, and quad cycles and those who identify as such (UTQ+).Above all Harriet house is clean, well priced, and ideally situated. Harriet is undoubtedly very proud.

Great rooms. Spacious and very clean and well equipped. There is no one on site, but you are right near the local pub, which does a great feed. McDonald's and Woolworths is right across the road. Great bed, great shower. The only issue I had was that they gave you plates but no bowls.

What a gem. Direct access from rooms to garden area and pool. Some work needs to be done but already great progress being made. Excellent location, very quiet. Good size rooms. Excellent value for money. Would definitely stay again.

Great location close to town and the park. We walked across the road for pizza, very easy. Room was warm when we arrived on a cold day, very pleasant, cosy inside. Comfortable bed, kettle fridge and microwave, great shower. Would stay again.

5 Stars from me!It's so easy to check in these days., I just love it.Friendly team of people there.The room was lovely. Had a lovely outlook to the pool and escarpment.Totally suited my needs on the way through Tumut.Great location also, just walking distance to everything.Cheers,Scott B

Pleasant room smartly decorated with a little balcony overlooking the pool and park. The service is very 'hands off' but I got the texted instructions in good time and had no problems finding the key and getting in

After a horrible experience with 2 other establishments that refused to accommodate someone with a disability (yes, this actually happened), Harriet House saved the day. The room was comfortable and clean, close to town. Harriet House treated us with respect and kindness, we are very grateful for the service.

Loved my stay at Harriet House. Awesome room with plenty of space right in the heart of Tumut. Everything you could possibly need is in walking distance, staff are very friendly and super accommodating to all your needs. Rooms are thoroughly serviced everyday. Great water pressure, good sized TV, air-conditioning, comfortable beds, beautiful lawn area out the back and a great pool too. Thoroughly enjoyed my time here. Thanks guys!

Called to make a booking. Very condescending reception. I was more than happy to give my credit card details but wanted to make the payment with a different card, this was apparently not allowed and I was ushered off the phone and unable to book because of it. Didn't expect to be made to feel like I'm a peasant for not wanting to charge to my credit card for the room fee! Whatever the policy is - fair enough - but certainly could've been more polite about it in order to secure a booking.

Super convenient location situated central to town, across the road from Woolworths and at the bottom end of the main street.Positioned at the rear of the Oriental Hotel provides the convenience of taking in some good pub grub, with craft beer and gin tasting also on offer.Affordable rates.Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable and the small balcony overlooking the pool are and surrounding hills was a nice spot for a nightcap.
