Loquat x Voodoo Lounge
I had dinner here two nights ago and I highly recommend it. It's a real surprise when you enter - while the front of the building looks more like a Mexican restaurant, inside lies a sophisticated restaurant with superb food and wine. I had the pecorino soufflé which was lovely followed by the crispy skin barramundi which was wonderful (the skin was actually crispy!). If you've driven past and wondered whether to try it, don't hesitate any longer, this is a gem and I'll definitely go again. The photos of the Rolling Stones in the hallway were mostly taken by the owners who have interesting stories to tell - an enjoyable way to end the evening with a browse of musical nostalgia. Take your time with that!

Loquat never disappoints. Attentive friendly service, delicious food options and excellent wine list and cocktails. We dined on a Thursday night where the menu was reduced but the quality high.

When we booked the Valentines Day set dinner at $75pp we had a choice of 5.45 or 8.15. Must be busy we thought - always a good sign. Set low off the highway it’s best to park in the guest parking in the side street & enter via the back. You get to see the loquat trees there. A friendly smile awaits you at the voodoo lounge bar but that’s where the Rolling Stones rock vibe disappears & you are led to your table where a limited Burt Bacharach song list from the 70s is on repeat with the waiter in dark attire happily singing along. Disconcertingly “I’ll never fall in love again” is still in my head. Pleased to say apart from this the dishes were delicious & beautifully presented. With a red rose on every table. No complimentary champagne though. It’s French & $19.50 a glass. A word of caution - don’t touch the Smokey butter.

Very cool bar/restaurant, great atmosphere with the Stones memorabilia everywhere and LPs playing all night. Really friendly relaxed service from the owner, who genuinely cares about peoples’ experience. And the food was top notch!

Absolutely beautiful. Quick friendly service and exceptional food. Everything on the plate belonged there (herb garnish should always compliment the dish or better still be a fundamental flavour component. This was perfectly displayed with the I'll on the cheese souffle dish) and it was skillfully thought out and executed. Truly exceptional. Thankyou for a wonderful dining experience from a couple who seek not just good food, but good food experiences.

We had a fantastic experience at the Voodoo Lounge and Restaurant.One of the largest Rolling Stones memorabilia collections I have ever seen.The staff were friendly talkative and when we couldn't get a taxi back to our hotel, one of the staff gave us a lift back.The food was great and we didn't feel over full.The drinks were different and enjoyable.

Valentine's day dinner was amazing. Staff were fantastic and we can't remember the last time we had such a great 3 course meal. We could not ask for better than last night. The chef must be worth his weight in gold.

Loquat x Voodoo Lounge
Had a really lovely experience at Loquat last night. A delicious 2 course menu for Thursday night including the best bread, smoked butter and olives, then duck, salmon, cheese soufflé, and a gorgeous dessert of chocolate pannacotta that just topped everything off. And of course a glass of wine each to complement the meal. Such a pleasant atmosphere and a friendly helpful waitress. Thanks so much Loquat.
