Tongala Skatepark

The Tongala Skate Park is a well designed small town park that is let down by some really poor finishing.I can imagine this park would have been great when first finished. It has a large 4ft quarter pipe at one end and a half embankment ramp-quarter pipe at the other. In the middle it features a spine to one side and hump/transfer ramp at the other. There is also a decent flat bar to the far side for grinds.Unfortunately it has since been let go in a couple of very important areas. At the bottom of each ramp the small concrete patch has been mixed poorly and has either crumbled away or shrunk (see photos). Also, the top areas of the hump and embankment ramps have been eaten away and have exposed the stones inside.With some maintenance this would be a great park again, but I don't see the Campaspe Shire putting that as a priority any time soon.
