Glenmore Park Mediclinic

When we went to Glenmore park mediclinic due to it was nearer to our house and my boy is very sick on that day. In the clinic Dr A. K was very impatient when we were there. My boy had took the antibiotics for 3 days but no improvement. So we when back to our family Dr and found the antibiotics that Dr.A.K prescribed is not for throat infection but is for urinary track.

Had the worse experience at this Practice. Please be careful, I went to have a consultation the first one was very good but the 2nd time with the same doctor she was very judgey and was rushing me. I looked medicare bulk billing and for every piece of paper she signed in that consultation she overcharged me. I'd never had this kind of experience before to other GPs only at this practice. If you get referred for bloods another charge on medicare, for referrral. Her total medicare bulk billed to me went to $190 each and thats too much compared to my GP consultations in the past when I asked for referral only $40. BEWARE! They overcharge and their practice doesn't match up to the price they bulk billed you!

I have an assistance dog and when I came here, the doctor told me I was not welcome back there with him. I explained that he is an assistance dog and what he is for but he said he still cannot come. It is illegal to refuse entry to people purely due to an assistance dog. The doctor is very uneducated. My assistance dog is my medical aid. As a doctor, he should know better.

Some staff are lovely but waiting times are a jokealways have to wait way over an hourthey have to stop taking so many appointments.they blame covid but this was happening way before Covid.need new management to get this place running properly.Someone will die in there waiting room and be told they have to still wait.its not hard to organise yourselves better and care about people

Would love to turn up to this practice and for once have one of these 'doctors' keep an appointment. Its unbelievable. The only reason this place gets 2 stars is because the girls at the reception desk are amazing. So friendly and pleasant.

Worst medical centre in Sydney, do not waste your time with them. After reading the very poor 2 star rating for this practice i naively gave them the benefit of the doubt in making an appointment for my almost adult son today. He left school early to attend, waited 40 minutes to see the next available Doctor about an injured knee and requiring a medical certificate for participation in sport. The Doctor refused to issue a medical certificate based on he had never seen my son before. I called the practice to book in with another Doctor only to be told it is common practice for them to never issue a medical certificate for first time patients for new Doctors and the other Doctor on duty also refused. I have never heard of such a policy having seen dozens of new Doctors over the course of my life time and never having an issue in receiving a medical certificate. Ridiculous. My son did mention the reception staff were lovely though it does not make up for the Doctors who are happy to be paid but not do their job.

I have been trying to get a prescription for a whole week now. I was told that it can be done over the phone. So I made an appointment for a phone call consultation four times during the week. And on every occasion I didn’t receive a call. So I went in on the Sunday, because after complaining that I didn’t get a call from the doctor on each time I had a booking. The receptionist said the best thing was to come into the clinic. So I did and found out that each time I made a booking to get a phone call consultation it was never made because there was no record of it. That means the so called receptionist lied to me every time I was promised a call from the doctor. Do yourself a huge favour and avoid going to this so called Mediclinic. Such a waste of time and a danger to your health as I have gone with out my blood pressure medication for three days now, thinking I was going to get my prescription filled over the phone. I originally went there because it was so close to my house. But I would rather go to the closest Vet than deal with them ever again. They should be shut down for the way they treated me. No wonder they have a poor rating. Avoid, Avoid, Avoid!!!!

Went here on 12/09/2022 with multiple different issues presenting. Almost passing out multiple times. The doctor said nothing was wrong, sent me on my way with a medical certificate.I ended up being admitted to Hospital later that day. I will never go to this medical practice ever again.The only good thing I could say is how amazing the nurses are.

Wait times are ridiculous, even with an appointment I have waited for more than 1 hour 15mins,Doctor is always chasing her tail, I have promised myself a couple of times that I would not return, I have found a really good new lady doctor elsewhere, (they are still out there), and I strongly suggest you do the same.

Worst medical centre in this area.The receptionists are so rude and intrusive, it’s none of your business as to what I want to ask or see the doctor about, you are a receptionist so do your job and let the doctor do his.The doctors are slow, there’s only 1 doctor who heaven forbid you actually are sick cos you need to ring a month ahead to get an appointment with him. There’s 1 nurse who’s lovely but everyone else treats you like you are an inconvenience and the receptionists answer the phones like they have a line up of people out the front, putting you on hold for long periods of time when in fact all they are doing is talking at the desk amongst each other.100% Unprofessional. I don’t know how it stays open.
