Good place to enjoy the beautiful Queensland weather in the early morning! You can enjoy tasty hot and cold drinks or eating breakfast, having a chat with friends or co-workers while listening to birds twitter will have a good vibe at 7:00 in the morning. However, there are no indoor areas, which means no protection from heavy rain, no air conditioner during hot summer and low temperature season and bird's attitude. The feature that I like the most in this coffee shop is that this place always maintains the cleanliness of the shop and the comfort of their customers. This may be biassed but as a Vietnamese, I honestly recommend to try Pho (Beef Noodle soup) and Banh Mi (Vietnamese bread rolls - you can imagine it as a Sub in Vietnamese style), the most famous dishes from Vietnam. Enjoy!

I don't know why it's so expensive and service so bad.I ordered TOFU BMT with chili but they put one TOFU and one chili BMT into order. I didn't notice this mistake when I was charged, when I got my order, I discussed with staff but they insisted I ordered both.In the end, I paid for additional BMT which I didn't order. Such situation happened two times and I decided I would never dine in this cafe.

Staff here are very friendly and will remember your name once you visit a few times. Coffee is reliably good and the bacon and egg toastie deal is affordable and cooked just right. Banh mi makes a delicious and quick lunch on the go. Or why not relax and enjoy your lunch in their partly covered outdoor dining area overlooking the lakes. I see lots of academic staff holding meetings here, too.

The meat in the pho is raw. I asked them to recook, but they said that’s their tradition. How primitive restaurants will offer raw meat to their customers.

Place has a great atmosphere. Everybody is either busy talking or studying. Great place if you need a relaxing view and a nice breeze going by.

Banh mi had not much in it almost no green veggies and tiny amount of meat. Close to $9, it’s really subpar of what you would normally get at other banh mi places.. very disappointing

used to be good pre-pandemicnow it taste like cheap food with an expensive price tagordered pho 15$ iced thai milk tea $5.3requested no coriander to the cashier lady. she replied there’s only spring onion, no coriander is in the pho. turns out they can’t differentiate between spring onions and coriandericed thai milk tea- powdered. didnt even mix properly with first sip being powder in my mouth and it stains the cup intensely orange.beef pho (see pics) - clumped broken noodles (taste more like rice noodle balls), chili wasn’t fresh (gave chili sauce??), 2 pieces of beef slices that were very chewy and 1 beef meatball which is likely frozen.i wouldn’t eat it again even if it was free.
