High rating for a highly rated location and definitely luxury villas .My partner & I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we cannot fault a thing . The villas are exceptionally tasteful and are beautifully placed amongst the classic Aussie bush backdrop plus stacks of local kangaroos lazing about wherever you look.The way the villas are placed allows for plenty of privacy and makes for a great romantic getaway.Plenty of shops close by & the walking tracks lead you to some awesome locations including the almighty Pinnacle.Special mention to the Manager for the attention to detail & the visibly high standards that are very evident throughout.

Stayed here twice in 2019 and 2022. Had a wonderful time on both occasions. Villas are ideally located just a short 5/10 minute walk into Halls Gap. Beautiful surroundings with views of the bush and mountains from your room. Lit the fireplace every night and enjoyed the spa bath frequently! They had even introduced mattress heaters this time round, which was a godsend for the cold nights. This place is a nature paradise and we got to see new wildlife outside our villa everyday such as kangaroos, emus and kookaburras. The best place to stay in Halls Gap and disconnect, with all the walks and wineries a short drive away. I'd recommend bringing your own speaker system for music or a laptop with HDMI to play films as TV system is a bit dated but other than that 100% recommend!

Very quiet location with a view of bush land it feels remote yet you are fairly close to town

My stay was delightful. The villa was beautiful with large windows looking out on nature. Very relaxing and peaceful, especially after having a spa. There is even a path at the back of the villas that takes you on a short walk into the town. Highly recommended.

Such a great romantic getaway, perfect for couples. Everything was clean comfortable and easy check in. Loved it!

My partner and I stayed in one of the Marwood Villas for 2 nights in July and I can honestly say that it was the most beautiful weekend we have spent together. The villas are spectacular. The bed was extremely comfortable. The spa was lovely. The bathroom is large and looks out onto the beautiful trees at the back of the villas. The breakfast basket was perfect and the surroundings are so tranquil. I brought my pushbike, which was great as Marwood is only a quick ride/walk to the Halls Gap shops, where we purchased ingredients to make our own meals, rather than eat out - the kitchen has absolutely everything you need. My partner has a terminal illness and did not have much energy to go out, so we spent most of our time in the villa. My partner commented to me that it was the best medicine he could have imagined. Max & Barb (owners) are so lovely and extremely professional and Cam & Deb (the property caretakers) were so wonderful. They really made our stay simply perfect. Thank you to everyone at Marwood. You are all fabulous and made our stay amazing :)

Incredibly beautiful stunning place, best holiday location I've ever been to

Superb, secluded location and the villas have a ton of rustic charm. The breakfasts are pretty standard but the icing on the cake was that when I managed to leave an item very important to me, the owner mailed it to us. So we have fond memories of our stay.

What an amazing place. If you want somewhere quiet and romantic this is the place to be. Thanks to Deb & Cam for a very clean Villa and well maintained grounds.It was great having a chat with you.The only thing l can fault is the toilet paper. Very thin.
