Hume Doors & Timber New South Wales

On the 27th of July we travelled for approximately 1hr to the Hume doors showroom hoping to get assistance with doors and architraves that we needed. Surprisingly, when we got there at 4pm the showroom was closed. There was nothing to say on their website that that would be the case. The attendant refused to help us and when trying to find reception, she ordered us outside. Extremely disrespectful treatment of us as potential customers of Hume trying to just ask some questions about the products.This is the first and last time we will engage with this brand due to our treatment. Rest assured we will not be choosing your products.

Hume Doors are hopeless. Went the showroom at Lansvale (their main location). Asked about the a certain BAL40 door. Had none in the showroom. Not even one. Not even one bal40 doorframe to show. They did not even have a sample door of their SPM finish in any door. Hopeless. Try to get a price on a custom size door. never hear back.Waste of time.Again this looks like one those companies that gets fake reviews....oh yeh 5 stars...the staff are amazing...as is. I guess they will have to generate at least 5 fake reviews to drown this review and push it down the line. Great work google.

Goodness, the Philippino lady at HumeDoors is atrocious! I went in to buy my door or get one cut to size there. She refused to let me buy any doors and kept saying if you're not a supplier or distributor you won't be able to afford our doors" I kept saying "yes

After using them for many years and being our supplier, they have changed there service completely and have become utterly rubbish. Lack of communication to their customers, they expect you to know how their own internal system works, when asking to follow up something they disregard you completely. I can't believe they have not had a company meeting to fix this. I bet looking through the reviews of the company before the change happened you'd see the gradual decline in customers being happy with their service.

What a terrible EVER service !!!!!!!!! We drove all the way to the showroom to view the doors. All we get is this comments:- Go to the retailer for cheaper prices- Go source your carpenter- Go get your own painterShocking service with no quality doors which is a good match for disaster.That woman is so rude and unhelpful towards us and the products. She has no interest in selling any doors to us.

Great company!Asked for help on sourcing a replacement part for a barn door and they went above and beyond to help! Had such a positive experience and amazing communication plus super quick delivery.

Disappointed to say the least what i expected compared to what i received.

After my complaint...Head of Sales rang and aplogised, and re assursed me that it is not their policy to not help their customer's....so now I give them a 4 star!!!!Poor customer service. All I needed to do door was swap one door size within 24hrs of making the order...they would not consider this at all! This was a standard size not custom yet this was too difficult for HUME, one of the biggest door manufacturers in the country.Very dissappointed!

I bought two single cavity sliders for a double opening, which unfortunately didn't come with the door stoppers. I messaged Hume directly as they weren't for sale at Bunnings, and they posted them straight out for free. They also followed up with me to make sure they arrived. Excellent customer service, and the sliders are great too.
