Max Brenner - Narellan

Had the brownie shake, Italian hot chocolate and Cappuccino. The brownie shake was ok, however the gritty texture due to the brownie wasn't the best. The Italian hot chocolate was also ok, however, I’ve had Italian hot chocolate in the past which was way thicker and smoother than that (taste was ok). The cappuccino was surprisingly the best out of all the drinks. The coffee was perfect, it was smooth and was not bitter at all. The tiramisu pancakes were nice and not overly sweet. The rocky road sundae was probably not the most ideal combination as the temperature of the icecream did not do the rocky road any favours. The rocky road might have tasted better on its own.Customer service could be a bit more polished. The only staff member that appeared hospitable and friendly was the guy.Food was 3 starsAn extra 1 star for the customer service of the guy. If it wasn’t for him it would have been a flat 3 stars.

Most recent visit:Yum! Lychee cake and Brownie.The Brownie is super sweet, Lychee cake is more mellow.(8 months prior) Brought some birthday chocolate and some butter cookies.

Every time I have gone here the staff are all very rude. I have witnessed some of them roll their eyes at customers on more than one occasion. More than once when an order comes out wrong and we politely ask them to change it to how we ordered and paid for it we get talked down to. Extremely disappointing.

I am regular at this place and the regular staff member on duty is fantastic (He knows who he is) . The morning session is ran with one staff member and he does a perfect job to service everyone one , food and drinks that are made perfect every time and only takes a few extra mins...

We've come to see Max a few times and it's usually pretty good for a treat. We come as a group and usually get a couple of share platters between us. Chocolate milkshake was good, as were the dark hot chocolates. The white hot chocolate was lusciously creamy. The only fail was the iced chocolate drink which tasted like water and had no flavour. It may have been made incorrectly but for close to $10 it was a disappointment. That being said, the food was delicious however the banana bread used in the dipping pots has to go. It's hard and always dry/stale tasting. Ditch it in favour of more banana and strawberries! We'll drop in again next time there's a special occasion.

Took my wife and our daughter into the store last night for a coffee and something sweet. Best coffee that ive had in a long time and our daughter really enjoyed her hot chocolate. Service in this store has really improved in the past couple of months. Great work!

Took our family to max Brenner tonight upon arriving was advised that we could only chose from the cake display as there was only 3 staff members working and couldn’t do the full menu despite no one being in store. Once our food and drinks were delivered to the table the staff member was extremely rude when a question was asked order was also incorrect.This was the first time I had been to max Brenner and I can safely say I will not be returning

Delicious desserts!! But I want to give a shout out to Natalie. Incomprehensible how this “Machine” could autonomously split herself amongst the multiple fulfillments of her duty flawlessly. Incredible. Tonight they were extremely busy but they managed so well despite. Well done ladies!

Disgusting customer service! Walked in at 9:45pm tried to order dessert and was told “we are not doing anymore dessert because we were very busy earlier so we stopped doing dessert” over an hour before closing? We asked why, and another person’s response was “because it’s hard for us to close if we don’t stop it early”.Very disappointing ..

Unfortunately staff swearing under their breath about each other and customers is unprofessional. If you are busy and a half an hour wait is necessary (like the wait tonight) then absolutely no problems, but rude and uninterested staff while politely obliging to such a wait is disappointing. Ignored at the counter to order is another thing. “Just a moment sorry” or “I’ll be with you in a second”, politeness is something to teach your staff, was about to walk way thinking no one was going to serve me.
