Reni’s Hand Car Wash

**Formal compliant filed with NSW Fair Trading** Been here a few times for normal car wash, this time we are doing full detailing ($300). We came to pick up the car after lunch - under the hood, lots of black dirt completely untouched, I had one swipe inside the back door pocket, my fingers covered in dirt/grime, front storage box untouched. The staff started cleaning while we pointed out the problems, so we had to wait, note that the car was dropped off the previous day. I told the owner I'm disappointed with the condition and this is unacceptable. He said there's no need to scream, as I'm talking in no more than a stern voice. He said 'not to worry it's only the small things', is this not what 'detailing' means? $300 job, here are some photos after additional guided cleaning, see for yourself.

STAY AWAY - these guys are dodgy lazy and extremely rude when speaking to you, they don't even acknowledge or greet you, just speak broken English and pretend to ignore you when you have an issue. they did NOT clean my car at all and there was bug splatter, dirty and smear marks left over windshield, dirt and debris left all over my seats and floor and wipe marks and overspray from their cheap chemicals left all over my dashboard, doors, and interior, the external paint was also not cleaned properly. My car actually came out dirtier than it went in with all the marks they created and left! they just smeared grease all over my carpets and interior and made it worse! I had to spend hours cleaning my car after they were done with it! they also took some items from my car and when I asked where they were they did not help me and did not give me back my missing stuff! absolute thieves! cheating people!

Washed my car with them first time and it was great. Second time they did and absolutely terrible job and broke my seat adjustment knob.Thought maybe that was an accident and tried them again, this time they left streaks all over the car and said he can’t fix it. Staff are very rude.

Best car wash I've been to. My wife is one of the most pickiest people when it comes to cleanliness and for the first time bringing her car back from a car wash she was surprised and full of praise. We take both our cars there. The staff is very friendly

Noticed that something had gone missing from my boot as I returned to my car to check it after it had been washed. I asked one of the men where the item from my boot went and he immediately called his colleague. His colleague came around and then proceeded to what looked to be another car and pulled out my missing item from the back seat of that car and placed it back into my boot. It's funny because he knew exactly where my missing item was. The item clearly had a subaru logo marked on it and it came out from an Audi. I asked him if it was a genuine mistake and I got no answer. Attempted theft??

Very busy long wait time when I was there 2 hrs plus. They do a good job and the prices r very fair 4 a hand wash. Best time 2 go. B4 11:00am is best.

I sent my husband to have our car cleaned on Friday 28 April 2023. He took the car, was quoted $110 for the job and handed then the keys. He then took our little dog for a walk while waiting on the car to be cleaned. After more than an hour of walking the dog and waiting, he notices our car still standing untouched and as no other vehicles around to be cleaned. Another car arrives and he then notices the manager call one of the guys back as he approaches our car, and tells him to attend to the car that has just arrived. My husband then completely flips on him, takes the car keys and leaves. I cannot believe that this is the level of service being offered at an Australian business. I will certainly not be going back there again.

I'm afraid I cannot give more than one star. Yes, it is cheap but for a reason. Left the car for a hand wash (I was told that auto wash hasn't worked for years), 40 minutes later came back and the car was still dirty in many places. When I pointed that out the man washing said: maybe you should wash more than once a year then it wouldn't be that dirty". If the service was "we will briefly wash some spots for $25 but not 100%" then fine but I'm afraid I won't come back."
