Great little place, good facilities and a bit more rainfall in the catchment would be ideal. There’s heaps of parking and it’s well maintained for walking / playing / picnics family’s ect.

My family loves it here! It's the perfect spot for family gatherings! BBQ'S are clean and free, restrooms are mostly always nice and clean. Great place to swim, fish, kayak, paddle board, jetski or take a small tinny out. Or just string up a hammock under some shady trees and chill out! Beautiful place for some RnR.

Bjelke-Petersen Dam otherwise known as Lake Barambah, QLD.Pack a picnic lunch and enjoy the grassed areas located at the vistor's park with a concrete boat ramp, electric barbeques, and picnic tables that overlook the grand lake.Fish, Kayah, Boat, Swim, that's not all, the activities here are endless, suiting all types of families. With amedities on hand and fresh air what more could you ask for. This not so little gem is situated amongst our aussie bush approximately 2 hours from the Sunshine Coast and 3 hrs from Brisbane.(Please note a permit is required to fish.)
