Impasto Forno Antico

Fantastic traditional Italian cafe with bakery attached in the shop next door. Food was authentic and the coffee is excellent. Great spot to get pizza or there are other sandwich and pasta dish items on the menu. The staff are very accommodating and the decor is modern with seating available outside.

Stopped by for a quick coffee and vanilla slice on my way through the area today. Was astounded to see no prices displayed on anything, nor was there a menu. Staff told me customers have to ask about prices if they wish to know! This has influenced my star rating to 2 stars.

Regular customer of this bakery so it was disappointing when my friend and I had a very negative experience last weekend. We walked to the bakery stopping via McDonalds for a coffee, I have bought several almond moccas at Impasto but have been dissapointed at the sizing (one standard size) which is tiny and expensive. We were served by a woman who has served us before but were met with a totally different attitude than previous experiences. She was rude and unprofessional then half way through our order, turned to serve someone else! She then scoffed and said “it’s a shame maccas doesn’t have food like this“. My panini then came out to me burnt instead of toasted as per the pictures. I couldn’t eat all the bread as it was hurting my teeth! We have been giving this bakery our business for almost a year now and place large orders, I enjoyed the food and atmosphere prior to this incident and am so disheartened that we don’t feel welcome anymore.

Food is okay but service is anything but Italian; not one smile, no courtesy. No plates, no cutlery but eating in the takeaway itself. DIY. Ma va!!!!!!!!

Very special bakery, exquisitely good bread, really good croissants stuffed with pistachio cream, typically Italian atmosphere, very kind and friendly staff. Bravissimi !!!

Delicious baked delights with servings of sweet and savory items. Try the very popular almond croissants or Almonds Tarts.Coffee is made fresh with your choice of oat, soy, almond, or full cream dairy milk. Hazelnut or caramel syrup are available to be added to you coffee ☕️ . There is only one size cup for take away.You can find parking out front, but these strip of shops are very busy so you might need to time your visit before the mid morning rush.

Absolutely delicious baked goods and fantastic coffee!! It was my first time there and I wasn't sure how it worked as there were heaps of people and what looked to be three counters.One of the staff members (I think her name is Julia) was the loveliest with excellent customer service and explained it all to me. I can't wait to come back for more!

Disappointing service. Once upon a time, the staff were friendly, a vibrant atmosphere, and the coffee used to be good. I'm giving 2 stars because of the food.

Recently moved into the area.Dropped by today.Wow....friendly staff, great coffee and incredible home baked goods.Highly recommended.
