Complete Car Sound

The other half’s brand new Jimny had pitiful standard speakers, she likes to play a bit of louder music now and then….so I thought I’d surprise her with a speaker upgrade... At the first service Suzuki quoted over $800 to get the front speakers upgraded and could not provide any details of the speakers that would be used or who would be doing it. I called Complete Car Sound from the Suzuki carpark and asked if by any chance Alan Denaro still worked there..?? (as he is legendary in car stereos from over 20 Yrs ago! He did a couple of my, and mates cars from years back, ‘sex-spec’ master, and is just THE BEST), to my surprise, he was still there and jumped on the phone to have a chat! His advice and knowledge was so reassuring; he said they do a lot of Jimmy’s and each one is custom hand fitted! Although there was a bit of a wait to get it done (shows they are busy and know their stuff), we locked it in, and at a very reasonable cost!When I picked up the car and the missus heard the ‘kickers’ for the first time, she was sooo impressed & happy… Alan, thank you and your team for an amazing job! We are just about to get my sons first car (Feroza) registered and we will ask Alan to sort out the stereo for him also.I 100% recommend this business for any car stereo or other service they provide.

BYD Atto 3 Discrete subwoofer install.Take the infotainment info below with a grain of salt as my conversation with the installer was rushed.(CCS Please feel free to reply with the information you discovered about the infotainment outputs, I'd be keen to know)Sound system upgrade info for anyone interested:- The infotainment system Dirac modes output HEAVILY processed sound. Lots going on well beyond basic EQ. Does not play well with the sub.- Even with everything off and the EQ flat, the outputted audio to the speakers is not flat. The bass is rolled off below 40hz. Nothing can be done about it.- I requested hookup to the rear outs so I could fade forward and lose the sub when kids are asleep in the back.My requirements were for a very discrete sub install with no loss of storage space.The installers did an incredibly tidy job. Apparently it was a tough job too. 5.5hrs labour but they capped it at the quoted 4hrs for me. They had never done an Atto 3 before.Sub model is in the picture. They cut out some of the the foam in the tyre well, added sound deadening underneath and bolted the sub to the chassis. Very impressed. It is rock solid.Total cost about $950 (capped labour due to prior quote). But they should be faster on future jobs so maybe it'll remain around that cost?I'm now running all the Dirac settings off and using the sub plus EQ and am pretty stoked with the result.For me, an audio lover, the money is very well spent. Super tidy install. Probably now rolls off around 40hz, not getting really subby sub (not really possible regardless of sub due to infotainment output built in high pass apparently) but overall so so much better and very enjoyable.

Great place, so knowledgeable about all things car stereo, customer service 11/10, the fitting was professionally done, everything set up perfectly, phone paired, speakers set up etc - they did everything so when You left there all You had to do was turn it on. The collective experience of the people at CCS is unmatched - out of dozens of systems I've seen and heard over the last 30 years, the complex install focussed on sound quality that CCS delivered for my vehicle is unequivocally the best. No point in posting photos because it looks absolutely factory, but sounds 100x better. Worth every penny to get it done right the first time by specialists with decades of experience.

Absolute life savers and the best customer service I have ever had. Every single team member is so kind and an absolute legend. Craig managed to squeeze me in to get black vue dash cams installed asap. Team are Extremely knowledgeable and the installation is perfect and seamless. I Had just bought the car and the team pointed out a fault in the tinting that had just been done. They made sure I got the tinting sorted before they worked on that section of the car, will just have to return for a 5 min install to complete the installation of the affected camera. No one does a better job than Complete Car Sound.

Very helpful and more interested in giving honest advice than trying to sell me something that they weren't convinced would help with my problem (unlike another business I had contacted).Their assessment that my radio unit was most likely at fault ultimately proved to be correct.Highly recommended on that basis.

Been supporting these guys for years and always been a pleasure to deal with. My last encounter, however, was anything but. Called up to enquire about having an alarm disarmed and was met with a young bloke who essentially turned me away because they were too busy. His words, not really doing alarms at the moment as we have too many stereos to install. Yet it clearly states on their website they do it. If you don’t want my business mate just say it.Lost a customer on this one and any referrals moving forward.
