Loved the story boards of the events following Captain Cooks landing. It's shocking that it took 200 years for recognition of aboriginal rights. The gift shop and art displays are fabulous.I shared the story boards in my travel blog to hopefully raise awareness.

Wallabies, emus and a couple of pleasant hours enjoying nature with the family. There's a cafe and a gift shop so a great spot for an afternoon getaway.

Worth a quick stop to see the Emus, wallabies and Kangaroo. You enter the fenced area and they're free around you. Gallery has some good art if you haven't seen traditional Aboriginal Art before. And the gift shop has a great collection of items.

Quaint gallery with aboriginal art and tools on display. Animal enclosure out back with wallabies, emus, and kangaroos. Be aware that once you enter the fenced area animals are free roaming and will approach for food. You can find feed for the animals in the gift shop if you’re interested. We were not interested in feeding the animals. We appreciated the gift shop where we found local art and books.

Watch out for a very cheeky kangaroo, they have a lovely art gallery and facilities.Tea (blue mountain) and scones was delicious shame the kitchen was closed when I attended as they have interesting bush tucker available to try.

We went to Narana Aboriginal Cultural Centre with our overseas visitors as we were staying nearby. Loved the place. Had a lot of kangaroos, emus. We spent 30 minutes. Free entry too. They also have a souvenir shop and a cafe too

We LOVED Narana Aboriginal Centre. We arrived at midday and stayed till closing, but could easily have stayed longer. We did boomerang throwing and boomerang painting, fed animals and ate absolutely delicious food at the cafe.Prices are so reasonable at the cafe and the giftshop. We will 100% be back even for a day trip from Melbourne....we loved it that much!!Thank you to all the lovely, friendly and helpful staff that made our day special on Friday 23rd September.

Beautiful place to visit and be in contact with wildlife only a few minutes drive from Geelong. Nice cafe and art gallery. Be aware that the cafe closes at 3pm.

It was raining the day we visited, which made it difficult to look at wildlife outside. Cafe was, unfortunately, also closed due to staff shortages. The gallery and gift shop were nice, as were the staff in the shop. Glad there was no entry fee to pay, given we were unable to enjoy all it has to offer. I look forward to returning when weather is better and cafe is opened.

Free entry! We got to learn about Aboriginal culture, especially in Wathaurong Country. Also got to see some native animals like wallabies, emus and magpies. Bought native tea as well to be enjoyed at home.
