Reasonable tourist spot to buy local stuff

Lovely olives tasting ! This is a little corner shop with lots of goodies - I found myself a nice straw/rattan bag for keepsake and bought a couple of olive oil and snacks. I recommend a visit!

Ian was a godsend! I'd just had to give my 13 month old a full costume change after a nappy leak. She was not happy to say the least and started screaming if i tried to put her in the pram. I wanted to enjoy the gourmet region and we love olives so i went to the shop with just bubs because everyone else had gone in another car. My daughter started rampaging and throwing things from the shelf which is her favourite thing to do. Ian helped with picking up after her, helping her throw walnuts and then getting her to scan all of the customers items and give them the receipts. The olives were amazing- we put them on a cheese platter and ate pretty much the entire jar and the olive oil was delicious but a bit too expensive to justify but I'm so glad i was able to try the olives and enjoy the shop even with the baby

Poor customer service. We walked in. Walked around the shop. No one talked to us. They were too busy on the phone. Asked the young girl about olive tasting. She said the person on the phone knows all about it. Waited and waited but she seemed more occupied with her stocks than customers. We left.The seinior staff member definitely saw us. She even said excuse me " and moved us from a shelf to count her stock."

We were treated to a personal tasting with explanations on variety, time of picking and the various varieties available . Great selection available with friendly staff. Highly recommend a visit.

Very lovely fresh olives. A range of other products as well slightly overpriced. We did a tasting but felt the staff weren't as welcoming as other stores in the Milawa gourmet region. We got the feeling they were impatient but no one else was in the shop. I would still give it a visit and explore. Side note, I loved loved loved their aprons.

We went to try some olive oils including some infused oils. Our host was so friendly and spent alot of time explaining all of the local oils to us. We even got to try three kinds of fresh olives. I would recommend the Manzanilla olives to take home. They also sell fresh walnuts and other local produce. I would definitely recommend a visit!

We had a lovely olive oil and olive tasting experience, with great service. Highly recommend trying the local produce, bespoke oils and manzanillo olives which are produced throughout the region. Our host had great recommendations of places to visit.Come try it out!

Nothing to say about The Olive Shop and their products but I got frustrated with the service during this weekend. I use to buy olives and olive oil from this shop every time when I'm heading to high country, the gentleman is friendly and helpful.This weekend I was in NSW and decided to change my route on my way back to Milawa only to buy olives and olive oil from this shop. I arrived 35min before closing and the shop was closed. I saw a lady in the counter and asked her if we could get few products, but she was a rude saying that the shop was closed and didn't do any effort help us. So I drove extra 50km to my final destination for nothing.
