Extremely disappointed in King IT. Engaged them to load three lap tops, two for my company and one for my wife's Family Tree. One of their staff came to my home and did most in one day and came back a second day to finish off. All good so far.After he left the second day, he acknowledged there were some items that needed tidying up and he would be able to do that remotely. Nothing. Nada. Zip. Despite repeated phone calls and visit to their Birtinya Shop, all we got was promises. Still nothing.To top it off, I'd asked for an account for the work after the staff member left my house the second day. Nothing. I then received a reminder that my account was overdue. I went to the Shop in Birtinya and spoke to the manager who fixed it on the spot and sent me the original invoice. He wanted to know if I could fix the account there and then, but I told him I wanted the work finished first and rather than pay by CC, I'd direct transfer the funds to their account. He sent me their account details to do so.Still nothing. Zip. Nada.I've paid their account and am now actively seeking someone to come and finish the work. Not good Patrick. Poor performance.I guess when dealing with King IT, it's Caveat Emptor...........I give them one star for Google because you can't leave a comment if you don't give them a rating of some sort.I apologies to King IT at Caloundra as I initially put this review up under their name and location.

King It at Birtinya They repaired a fairly new phones charging point which damged the phone then refused to except that they were at fault and wanted me to make a false statement to Harvey normanI would not recommend this place at all they have no respect for property...They have no respect for anyone and have no one else interest in mind except their own .We have been with out a phone for 6weeks for something that should have been fixed in a dayNot good enough King It take responsibility for your mistakes and treat people with the respect they deserveAnd with your reply you are still not admitting you caused the major issue for it to then need furthrler repair the phone was in good working order before you touched it.You caused the issue the only fault when it was handed in was the charger was stuck in the charging point phone still worked and still charged via wireless charger.You's tried to fix the charger and caused more issues

Never going there again, couldn’t be anymore disappointed and frustrated. Went in at 9am to get my screen replaced and was told it would take 2 hours, then got notified 6.5 hours later after dropping my phone in telling me that they don’t have a screen to be able to fix it. Went elsewhere to PTC in kawana and the team was amazing, fixed my phone in 30mins

Bank accounts got hacked, and as a result, I had to have my phone cleaned these rip-off merchants quoted between $500-$600. I rang several other IT specialists on the Coast and was quoted anywhere from $70.00 to $100.00 to have the same service. I went to OJ Networks in Coolum and paid $70.00. OJ thanks for the excellent service....

My wife's spilled a bit of soup on her computer, although no water got inside and out was working fine without any damage (I work in IT and could see this was fine). Computer turned on no problems but she wanted to double check everything as precautionary measure. Took this in, but they broke components on the motherboard and somehow wiped the hard drive. With the broken components this computer is not worth fixing and my wife lost all her documents. I don't understand how they wrecked a perfectly good laptop. Still charged her $200 while breaking everything. Although the staff did seem pretty nice tho.

Matt knows exactly how to deliver great service and went above and beyond to ascertain and meet my needs. Absolutely legendary local business that you should 100% support. Can't thank Matt enough for making things so easy in a time so full of headaches. 10 stars out of 5

Helped with removing my laptop cover to replace the battery, despite the stripped screws. Very friendly and helpful.

They don’t have your best interest in mind, poor customer service, more interested in their commission than fixing what is actually required.I needed a lens replaced on an iPhone which costs $70 at a competitor, although King IT offered me a $500 solution. From my experience they are taking advantage of customers.
