Hunter Jeep

Refuse to run scan tool over any vehicle over 10 years old, made by Jeep and sold in Australia. Don't recommend buying a jeep as you won't be able to get it serviced if their is a fault

Have been dealing with this branch since buying our brand new Jeep from here 2 years ago. Nothing but a nightmare everytime from the paperwork side to the mechanical side. Reading the other reviews, I think I just must have bought the only lemon there and treated poorly! Always palmed off by the the service team with any issue I had asked them about, especially with the car under warranty, which of course some of the issues I advised about, I'm now having to pay another service centre to be fixed.Rubbish customer service that sell junk cars! Avoid buying a Jeep, the rumours are true.

Our Jeep had a flat battery which was replaced by our roadside service. Subsequently, there was a computer error reading so we drove the Jeep to Hunter Jeep for support. Tom in Service told me that was the wrong battery and that he would replace it at a cost of over $600 plus $300 for labour.The roadside company re-checked as we asked for a refund from them. Long story, but there was NOTHiNG wrong with the first battery. And nearly $1000 would have been spent for no gain. Hunter Jeep refused to show me the report to show a fault and tragically one if their service team didn't know where the battery actually was (it's under the driver's seat).Beware.

Jason the the team in the servicing department have been of immense help over the last few months. I couldn’t get much support from Jeep Australia but Jason kept me informed of what was happening and the mechanics have done great work over the occasions I have serviced my vehicle there. Highly recommend them. I was told to go to them rather than other Jeep servicing centres and I’m glad I did.

I recently took my 2021 Jeep Rubicon in for the second service at Cessnock Service Centre with a problem with the rear leather seat deteriorating prematurely. I raised this as all the other seats are 100% fine and the car is still under warranty.The response I received was a staff member arrogantly disagreeing with the request. He treated me with hostility, extreme rudeness, very argumentative, very aggressive, dismissive and his word was final. He was unprofessional in every sense of the word! I have reached out to senior management with no response given! Shameful! If this situation is any benchmark Jeep Warranty is a SCAM!We sent $90,000.00 on this vehicle only to be treated with utter disrespect and hostility.I will not be returning in the future for any service on the car at Cessnock Hunter Jeep.

Good old fashioned service. Very competitive prices too. Great selection of car colours too. Not just black, grey and white.

Massive shout out to Scott Riches ( Mitsubishi Manager that temporarily managed Jeeps service department in Cessnock ) absolutely blessed for his short stint filling in during a staff change. Thank you for sticking to your word and for genuinely caring enough to acknowledge and action the needed correction on my repairs.

Both service and sales departments have been very helpful, professional and friendly. Have gone above and beyond to help us out. Highly recommend!
