Beachport Coastal Stays

The Palace was a charming little slice of heaven. After driving half the day from Adelaide, it was great to arrive in Beachport and have a great pre-ordered meal waiting for us. All we had to do was throw it on the grill and dinner was served. Meat was marinated perfectly and the salad was enough to feed a family of four. We had enough left over for our picnic at Blue Lake in Mt Gambier this afternoon. The amenities at The Palace were exceptional. Everything you needed for a truly enjoyable stay. Highly recommend it...would love to come back. Cheers!

Had a lovely stay. Kathy made us feel welcomed and breakfast was lovely. The palace was beautifully decorated, clean, and great value for money. Great place to tour the South East from. Penola and Petticoat Lane to Millicent Musuem, Mount Gambier and Tantanoola Caves all within easy reach of this fantastic coastal palace! Highly recommend both Kathy and the Palace.

We have stayed at Harbourmasters house and Sallys Cottage for a total of a week. Both outstanding. Incredibly clean and well appointed. Everything that you need is provided. The outdoor areas are clean and well maintained. Sallys Cottage had a great spa bath and the house has a wood fire and a wood fired oven - with wood! Kathy and her workers are friendly and most accomodating. If you like some old world comfort this is for you!

Great spot to explore the South East from. The Palace is quiet, comfortable and well equipped. Walking distance to the main street, pub and cafes. Friendly hosts. Highly recommend.

Enjoyed a fantastic holiday and enjoyed our time at The Palace in Beachport. Kath from Coastal Stays was a great host and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be back again next year!

What a great 4 days we had in Beachport. Kath was at the house to greet us and gave us a tour of her house with it's amazing collection of furniture and crockery. We walked to the pub and beach front. The house is very spacious and we hosted 8 people for a crayfish Dinner one night. We willbe back.

Kath was a great host, always there if I needed her. The Palace was lovely, in a brilliant setting, I could go off and explore, where every day there was somewhere new to find.I had a great night’s sleep each night, was nice and peaceful.The kitchen was well equipped and certainly had enough cooking equipment for me. The breakfast was a nice addition too.

Beautiful, clean, peaceful getaway in relaxing Beachport - highly recommend!
