Ordered one portion of fish bites with chips, one portion of medium chips and one portion of large chips. The medium portion of chips was delivered mixed in with the fish bites and chips. Due to allergy to fish and vegetarian we were unable to consume the chips that were mixed in with the fish. Phoned restaurant to complain but they would not accept that they had done anything wrong and thought it completely acceptable to wrap two separate items together. They were oblivious to potentially fatal food allergies.

Guys thank you as an English girl I haven't even bothered eating fish and chips in over 10 years whilst in Australia and WOW I felt like I had been taken back in time! It was exactly like fish and chips back home to the battered savaloy the chips were spot on and to top it off the selection of old school British treats is so great! Walked out with angel delight, monster munch and chip shop curry sauce topped off with a can of D and B that I haven't had in 20 years!!! THE BEST

Coming from Sheffield originally, I still occasionally crave food from the old country. I don't eat fish these days so I can't comment on that, but the food I ordered from here today was excellent!The chips were just like the ones I remember from my childhood - plain salt (not chicken salt) and vinegar, sticking slightly to the paper they were wrapped up in.. you forget how different Aussie chips are!I had the cheese and onion pasty, and mushy peas and curry sauce. A great trip down memory lane for me, and my craving was definitely fulfilled :D

I discovered Burleigh British Chippy a few months ago and I am so glad I did. Every time without fail the best cod and chips I've ever had. The chips are so so yummy, better that the ones I remember from the UK. I don't know what the secret ingredient is but it works. I'll be back for more and more :-)

Really enjoyed my fish bites and chips with curry sauce. The chips are definitely hand cut in house, so don't expect them to be crispy. They are, however, tender, flavoursome, and creamy. Dad really enjoyed his steak and kidney pudding meal, and mum liked the battered cod. Very nice place, would definitely go again.

Disappointing to wait 35 min for fish and chips when you don’t even wait that long for food at a busy restaurant. Two people that ordered before us got theirs first because they only had one fish and chips instead of 4, but I don’t feel that someone with a larger order should then wait while the single orders get served first. Read good reviews but the wait time definitely put me off.
