I wish I could give them ZERO stars. Lost Picnic was the worst event ever! Average queue wait of over an hour for everything, drinks/toilets/food. They ran out of wine 3hrs into the event. Charged exhorbitant prices for terrible quality and money grabbing recycling scheme which was never going to work. Would NEVER attend a gig organised by them. Lots of people already filed complaints with the NSW Fair Trading & Petition has been lodged. These people should never be allowed to plan an event again

Extremely disappointed in Lost Picnic at the Domain. During a 50 minute queue for drinks, one of the bar staff came out and walked along the queue to inform everyone that the white wine was sold out. This was at around 3:30pm, just over 3 hours into an 8 hour event ... how on earth do you run out only 3 hours in!!!.This same bar staff member was offered (and accepted) a bribe by a guy in the queue behind us if she would grab him a bottle of red. She took the wine money and the bribe money from him, went behind the bar and returned with his red and some plastic cups. He happily returned to his friends and to listen to the music whilst we (who weren't quite so innovative or flush with money) continued to wait in the queue ... clearly he figured $60 for the wine and $40 to get out of the queue was good value and she just got an extra $40 cash in her hand! It was incredibly frustrating to have to queue for everything, including food, drinks and toilets, particularly as my husband has a broken ankle ... as someone said in an earlier comment, we were there to listen to the music, not to stand in queues so let people bring their own food. We paid a lot of money to attend what was a very poorly organised, disappointing event. There was an enforced recycling system (pay a deposit on wine bottles, beer cans etc., return them to the recycling centre and be reimbursed your deposit). They ran out of cash and instead of returning peoples money they offered a voucher to use at any of the vendors (not sure why they didn't offer to put a credit on customers' credit/debit cards as they quite happily took the deposit when they made the purchase. Also, when initially buying the tickets (I think ours were 2nd round) the fine print" mentioned something like "although you can bring along your own food we encourage you to support the food vendors that will be there on the day...". One of the reasons I bought the tickets but later emails advised no food or drink would be allowed and tried to trick people into purchasing expensive food hampers that

Really disappointed with Finely Tuned and their handling of the Peggy Gou event. After a number of my mates and I signed up for pre sale, we were not sent the pre sale code. After my friend discussed the issue with several members from the Finely Tuned team, it was obvious that those running the event were incompetent. First they blamed him for not signing up and mentioned that they did not have his details despite the fact that he showed them the email verifying that he had in fact signed up. Next, they blamed their email provider for not sending the link and in doing so showed a complete lack of remorse or accountability. Next, they suggested that my friend purchase first release tickets so he didn't miss the event altogether. These are conveniently more expensive than the pre sale tickets.A certain member from Finely Tuned also went out of his way to call and abuse my friend about comments he had left on Facebook. Rather than acknowledging the reason why my friends and I were frustrated, he decided to be abusive towards my friend. This is a clear lack of professionalism and understanding of the situation, and left my friends and I utterly disappointed. Furthermore, it is particularly interesting that someone from Finer Things could have called my friend despite initially saying they did not have his details and he had not signed up. Not to mention the invasion of privacy of this call..The most frustrating part of this whole ordeal is that not only has no one from Finely Tuned apologised for the inconvenience to which we have been subject, but also no alternatives have been suggested. Rather than being stubborn and provocative, the staff from Finely Tuned could have easily resolved the situation by being a little more understanding but instead they have handled the situation in a way that has created a large amount of disgruntlement. We are fans of live music and were really excited for the event but now we are seriously reconsidering whether or not to come.

Lost Picnic 2017 was by far the worst organised event I have ever been to and I have been to lots, all over the world. It's all about money for these event organisers (although there was v little organisation, it felt like it was put on by a bunch of amateurs). The tricks to get more money from the punters started before the festival when they announced the only way to eat was to purchase an overpriced hamper (a carefully marketed lie) then after the deadline for that, announced food trucks. Queues for everything (food, drink & toilet) on average was 1 hour (the above mentioned pre ordered hamper line was 2 hours). They ran out of wine before 4pm forcing you to buy more expensive champagne. They took deposits for recycling ($1 for beer/$10 for bottles) then made it impossible to get it back as they were understaffed and yet another hour plus long line then they ran out of money. I've heard similar to past events. These guys are crooks. I wouldn't go to another event they put on even if someone actually paid me to go.

I spent almost $300 on food, wine and and a ticket to Lost Picnic. I spent three hours queuing and saw one band. I brought a pre-ordered hamper as they said there was no other food onsite which was a lie. I then queued 1.5 hours to get my food. The only hot part was some pork. I spent 1.5 hours queuing for two bottles of wiine and couldn't get the $20 recycling deposit back as it was another huge queue ...... for drinks tokens and another queue to redeem them. There's only so much queuing and drinking one can do. This should have been an amazing event, I brought 10 friends as it was my birthday and I chose to celebrate it here. We were seperated queuing most of the day. One friend queued for over and hour for a preordered hamper and they ran out so she had to go back, half way through the closing act. I complained, they said tough. I've spent 20 years going to festivals and events and never ever seen anything as poorly organised as this event.

If only I could give zero stars! Treated so badly by these people! They have taken my money (almost $300) given none of what I paid for & refuse to show me any respect after the fact! I prepaid tickets & food as that was apparently the only option. I bought bottles with the escalated recycling price on the condition of a refund for the bottle. They had no wine left, no money for recycling & no hampers all before 1700!! Beyond disgusting. So clearly a scam to get money & line their own pockets. I can only advise everyone to stay away from their events. There are so many better festival organisers in our city! Support those!

These people are complete scammers...the worst event and exeperince of my life. I would strongly advise to never attend a lost picnic or any other affiliate event. Clearly just a scam to get cash and nothing more. So disappointing and seriously the worst event management I have ever seen-total disgrace.

Have had so much fun at Finely Tuned events, from Lost Paradise to the epic Agwa boat parties (please bring those back!). The Sydney creative and music scene is all the better ‘cause of this crew.
