Fremantle Library

The new and updated library is such a pleasure to be in.There is so much space to go and chill and read and you deserve facilities the Internet is pretty reasonable as well.Definitely worth checking it out

Don’t know why the ladies can’t keep a smiley face or atleast avoid an angry one. There should be a positive vibe and people hired for management or customer service are not good for the library. Please hire some young and energetic faces for us to get a good vibe to study.

Amazing library, couldn't ask for anything else.The staff are knowledgeable and easy to approach, whenever I had a question their answers helped and they also offered their personal experience/ insightsI mainly go here to study and it's an excellent spot for it, the children in the kids area can be a bit noisy but there are quiet areas and also the option to sit in isolated outside areas!A bonus is they have gaming systems you can use! Nintendo switch, Xbox and I think PlayStation?They include search systems to find books which are super helpful and also give the option to borrow online. Checking out books is fast and simple with their self-serve checkouts

This library is a very clean, peaceful space to study, read or just to game on their nintendo.I usually go here to study and it is very nice. There is outlets to charge devices too.Lots of places to sit as well.

pretty crowded but fairly good experience overall. The food near here is good aswell.

Great, centrally-located library with all the resources you'd expect from a town/city library and very friendly, helpful staff.For a weary traveller, it makes such a difference when guest/new members are met with very flexible and accessible conditions for getting connected and able to access loans while technically still from another state or territory.One very minor grizzle and it might be peculiar to my mobile device, but when signing up online, I wasn't able to directly put my date of birth in. I had to scroll through the months to enter it: 670 months to be exact!We got there. :-)

Quite a space and the outdoor area is surprisingly cool despite warm temps.

What a beautiful building, quite area for book lovers to spend time looking for their books or reading a nice piece. The area looks very beautiful. Helpful staff to guide Incase you’re lost or looking for a loo. Some construction still happening, looking forward to see what else it has to offer. Overall a very nice place to visit alone or with family. :)

Fremantle Library was next to the Fremantle football oval. I didn't realise to use this landmark to locate the library. It took me a long time to find the library. On arrival to the library, the Librarian was helpful & friendly, she advised me of online resources & issue me a library card too. I have already registered online, quick & an easy process. I would recommend new members to use the online facilities. They are excellent services.

A library is supposed to be a quiet place, this is just a public square with children screaming and adults chatting.If you need to study or working, you better find another place. No concentration.
