Exceptional quality of workmanship by Matt for the two projects I’ve had him complete. One was a colour match and refinish of a high end Sonor kick drum and the conversion of a shell from tom to high quality snare. His communication is terrific and I couldn’t recommend him more for anything drum related.

Matt has restored several drums for me, all to very high professional standard. He has an excellent knowledge of all facets of drum restoration and can manufacture parts if required. I took a vintage floor tom to get cut down and converted into a kick and just went and picked it up from Matt today. I'm over the moon with how it turned out. His communication throughout the process was amazing and his expertise with the job was second to none. Sometimes it can be scary taking beloved drums in for size changes (especially when they are vintage), but I will only be taking my gear, whatever the job, to Brisbane Drums from now on and reccommending it to all my friends in the music scene. He's a great guy and really loves and cares about his craft which is mirrored through his work.

Absolute legend! Matt's knowledge and experience are invaluable, and his workmanship is top-notch. And despite that, he is very reasonable with cost and treats every job like it is high priority. Only thing that could possibly improve it is a bar outside the shed to watch him work his magic - but then he might not get any work done! Thanks Matt - I've no doubt I'll have some more jobs coming your way in the future.
