Not much to see except big ants which all seem to move towards you so don't stop walking. Heard a bird among the reeds warbling away, wonder what they call that one? A solitary duck kept flying a further 100 meters every time we approached so we saw more birds outside our motel room, which had our bird in it. Well done there. Thanks for accepting emus as guests.

Would be a lovely place however it is not maintained. Catsheads cover the walking tracks (unfortunately sprayed too late after they have gone to seed) which made the walk unpleasant. I had to carry my young son as he had so many cats heads in his shoes they were piercing his feet, the same with me. There are also numerous other nasty weeds which aren't being managed and sprayed appropriately which detracts from what could be a beautiful place. Also, there are no bins anywhere, including the picnic area so there is a lot of rubbish. Sad really.

Great walking tracks. It has new picnic tables provided and shade. So many birds live there and the varieties change depending on the time of year and the migration of the birds. I have photographed different birds every visit.

Fabulous and precious place full of native birds. It is a credit to the community. Lovely walking tracks with seats and hides. Really loved it.

Perfect for a winter evening walk. Lots of swans, ibis, ducks and other birds. Kangaroos grazing on the lush grass raised their heads and then ignored us.

Delightful slice of nature. Deceptively inconspicuous, it’s constructed paths weave a majestic journey through aboriginal culture, and the sparse wetlands (or dry) of the Riverina. Bring a packed lunch and drop any preconceived notions of cultivated national park walks, This is simple nature at its most sublime. Take a breath, bat off the flies, and absorb all that being in nature brings.

Worth a stop to stretch the legs. Permanently wet section is a good walk from road so bring your walking shoes and a hat. Better in the mornings or afternoons.
