Hog's Breath Cafe Caloundra
The waiters are very professional n helpful. We came late for our dinner session tonight at 7.45pm. they still take our orders n still very helpful. They don't rushed at all. Food was delicious. We had steak with yummy Byron bay chillies. Kids had double cheeseburger with curly fries n finish off rocky road ice for 1person but it was enough for 4 of us. Definitely will be back again.

There were pieces of plastic in our overpriced smoothies and when we told the staff they told us they’d run out of smoothie ingredients but then offered no other replacement.The steak burger was less than subpar. The thin sliver of room-temp meat neither looked nor tasted like a steak.The chips that came with it were undercooked, unsalted and the meal size was tiny.The poor young waitress who served us was flustered and rushed. It seemed she was either too new or too understaffed to be serving by herself.

Service has really gone downhill. Went in today for lunch with my family. Staff seemed like they didn’t care to be there at all. Water station empty. No one cleared any plates even when we got more food, not enough cutlery for our tablet, missing part of our meals, waitresses didn’t get our food even when it was sitting there for over 5 minutes that we went up and got our own food. Empty restaurant and the staff were more concerned socialising with each-other than doing their job. Honestly so disappointed with the utter lack of service.

Best steak ever. We got exactly what we ordered. Staff were friendly, caring and very nice to customer. Happy for the drinks as well. Good customer service .Variety of chicken items , seafood, steak both fillet and prime rib available. Wide range of menu dish from vegan, GF burger, chicken, pork ……..Would love to be there again and enjoy hogs’s dinner. Get our hands dirty.

Very average steak no meat mostly fat and string. Been a local a long time been here twice terrible both times.Very average customer service. If you give this place 5 stars clearly your home cooking consists of 2 minute noodles.Won't be back.

Such a great variety of menue options to choose from!Steaks were cooked just beautifully and the customer service was great and very thoughtful.Foods were a bit expensive but were tasty.Will be back there with my friends if we go to the Golden beach.

Ahh the sweet succulent taste of nostalgia. Slow cooked prime ribs with a calamari topper, traditional cut, medium rare were integral to my youth. Fast forward to my teens and Hogs went off the rails - really lost their way. Fast forward to now and the prodigal son has returned. Loved the steaks. Loved them. Exactly how I remember the Hogs of old.I will always forever and ever (and ever), choose curly fries over any other side. I am an adult and this is my prerogative.There is a sign apologising for being short-staffed. Not to worry - most staff seem to be average height and even the shorter ones (like the young lady who served us) were friendly and helpful - so no apology necessary.The bar is average but generally the venue is good. Great location. Even the outdoor seating, while loud, is surprisingly decent. I quite like the table numbers - I'd like to know how many have accidentally been thrown out while clearing tables.Five stars to the short and tall.

Love this place. Our son had his first 18hr legendary steak and fell in love. Hubby got the Mega portion and I enjoyed the ribs.Service was great as well. Would definitely go back.

The pulled beef on the nachos was extremely dry and crispy and then the waitress forgot to bring out a spoon with my dessert and also forgot to bring one back when I asked. So I went up to the counter to ask for one and rather than walking to the kitchen to get a clean one, they gave me the tea spoon from the coffee machine. Not impressed with the food for the cost or the service. Friend also had a steak and a dessert and it cost her $62. We understand that food is getting more expensive but when you don’t even get table service, they forget basic cutlery, and waited over an hour for our food there really isn’t an excuse for the expensive prices.
