GB Plastics & Blinds

Very very happy with the before service and the installation of 2 remote controlled blinds and 1 manual blind. Product is excellent. However when 1 of the blinds failed to come down properly and I rang for help and advice, I was told they were too busy to come out. Their after-sales support is non-existant so buyer beware.

Our blinds on the balcony are great we now can enjoy sunsets with out the sun in our eyes. Great company to deal with the guys who installed them was quick and tidy.

Received a We are closing - Make it quick" message when I called 5 minutes before 11.00 am closing time this Sunday..... Considered this to be disrespectful and demeaning. They have lost me !!!!."

GB Plastics provided a great product at a good price. The installation was completed in good time and the boys were good with their clean up after completion. They even went through the instructions on how to operate the blinds.

Jennifer page and i utilised this company on 3 separate occasions with outdoor blinds being supplied and fitted and they have been suburb to deal with and workmanship excellent and would refer anyone to them

After 5 different quotes, GB plastics came out on top. Not just for price but also service and quality. I have my blinds installed today. Everything was right - no mistakes and the installer was pleasant, helpful and cleaned up after himself. Save yourself some time and don't bother with the rest.... I am one happy customer GB Plastics.

Had an outdoor blind installed, process from quote to finished product was easy. Good service and quality product, much cheaper than competitors, easy to deal with, nice local company.

Response to owner comment:The suggestion our broken shutter was out of warranty (2 years) and that they were doing us a favour is not correct. The business were well aware that we had intermittent issues within months of installation, however we did not tell them until a couple of years post installation. We did not jump on the very first issue as we had life to deal with and at that time it was working albeit intermittently. We did make the business clear the fault was early on however that was not reflected in their response below so clarification was necessary.Further, it was during the time when the shutter broke down completely and was not working at all that one of the inspections took place, as mentioned below, and we were told the shutter works perfectly which was not the case.We are sure GB Plastics will continue to provide great products and great service, and they can grow from our feedback.Agree with Kathy...We have always used GB Plastics for roller shutters and cafe blinds without even bothering to get quotes from other businesses as they are local and we support local.When one of our shutters failed early on and then only worked (but struggled) periodically, the after sales service was almost non existant or marred with excuses.First I was told it is out of warranty, despite me saying it never worked properly from the start but we just tolerated it.Then, and only when other shutters were being quoted/installed, the shutter was checked and found to be working perfectly??Without anyone witnessing this supposed test... The shutter was definitely not working and the dishonesty about that was upsetting.Now the shutter is finally being fixed but only after a VERY stressful and frustrating after sales service experience.In order to keep our business in the future, we needed an apology for not listening to us and an acknowledgment we were treated badly and that this would not happen again. Still waiting....GB Plastics has alot to learn about after sales service and we will go elsewhere in the future.

Great service from start to finish! Love our new Ziptrak blinds, we can now use our alfresco area year round! Highly recommend!!!
