I would definitely recommend Precision Operators. Friendly, efficient and professional to deal with from start to finish. We had them clear, level and surface an area on a bush section of our property, and also grade and re-surface our (steep in places) driveway. They were willing to problem solve challenges of the site as they came up and the end result exceeded expectations. Couldn’t be happier, thanks guys!

Tasmanian Possums: we love them, but not in our food garden where, over 5 years, possums were able to breach every barrier we erected keeping apple and pear trees just 1m high and potatoes pruned to ground level. Another challenge was the steep slope with scarcely a horizontal surface. Sam and Jack used their track making expertise to build a beautiful golden path that winds through the trees. This required the removal of numerous large dolerite rocks from which stone stairs were built. To this Sam and Jack added a robust possum exclusion fence topped with an electric wire. (Of course, Puggles the Dog supervised.) No apple tree has been munched since and the potatoes have flourished. We are delighted. All that remains now is the plant the edge of the path with golden daffodils, replant the chewed apple trees, under-plant them with bluebells and upgrade the vegetable bed. We contracted Precision Operators to excavate under our house (which is built on posts on a slope) to flatten the area and to build a rock wall in the garden in front of that to create two flat areas. The space under the house was very small with limited space to operate their excavator, but Sam and Simon were great operators and very careful to not get too close to the foundations. They were flexible in adapting the plan as the days passed based on what they found while excavating. As part of the job, they arranged large dolerite boulders into a nice looking wall and staircase and laid top soil and pebbles in the garden to finish it off. The result looks great and we’re really happy with it. Sam and Simon were good communicators throughout the quoting process and while carrying out the work. Highly recommended, thanks a lot!
