My health Rhodes is not my local medical centre, but I travel there because the doctors are amazing. I’ve always had a good experience with the receptionists, I find them to be polite and positive, and always accommodating and helpful and like with everybody as long as you don’t rush them and are polite and respectful to them you will find that they will be the same back to you.The doctors are all amazing. They spend a lot of time listening, and asking questions, and then explaining to the patient their diagnosis. I have full confidence in their diagnosis, they have never requested unnecessary tests, and I have always found a solution to my issues. They call always go above and beyond even once performing a small procedure after hours, which meant closing up at the practice very late.I recommend My Health Rhodes to all my friends and family.

Change your front door staff and practice manager.Have been a patient for more than 10 years and had an amazing GP there, human with great knowledge of medicine and empathetic.GPs are always running late because you book a patient every 2 minutes. Last time they called me 3 hours late to a phone appointment, no apology for calling 3 hours late, it seems like they believe this is an acceptable business practice, just to tell me a Medicare rebate won't apply because I haven't attended in person over the last 12 months. Sure enough after 10 minutes talking about money I asked if they want me to go to the practice with Covid just to tell me pay full price.As much as I love my GP there I have found another GP in a practice that is well run, with an outstanding customer service on the reception and they call me on time for my appointment without hassles.

I have been a patient of Dr. Duncan Chang for many years now, and I can say without reservations that he is one of the most dedicated and caring doctors I have ever met. His commitment to providing exceptional medical care is evident in everything he does, from the way he interacts with his patients to the thoroughness of his examinations.One of the things that I appreciate most about Dr. Chang is his ability to listen. He takes the time to really understand his patients' concerns, and he always makes me feel heard and validated. This has been particularly helpful when I need to describe complex symptoms that can be difficult to explain.Dr. Chang is also knowledgeable about a wide range of medical conditions. He has always been able to provide me with accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans, and I feel confident in his ability to handle any health issue that may arise.Furthermore, Dr. Chang has a warm and friendly manner that puts me at ease. He is kind, patient, and genuinely cares about his patients' well-being. I've been going to this practice for several years and have always had good experiences. I typically see Dr Jeff Lee and he has always provided tactful, attentive and thorough care. The telehealth service has also been very convenient especially during lockdown. I've also seen several of the other doctors across the years when I needed to get in sooner and have similarly never had any complaints.

My doctor, Duncan Chang proved to be a liability for the management of my health. He became insular and rejected my other doctors and specialists recommendations and advices and largely misdiagnosed and mishandled aspects of my health. When questioned he would immediately become defensive and shut down communication until the patient decided not to say anything else or question anything. The doctor deliberately created notes designed to justify his double charging for consultations without discussing with the patient or letting him know. When the double charging was discovered, the doctor once again became defensive and tried to justify by creating stories about what happened during consultations to merit the double charges. The doctor would record multiple times the same activity to make them look as distinctive actions, for example, created referral, created referral letter (one and the same thing as the other), printed letter, signed letter, put letter in envelope and issued letter to patient. For all these alleged steps which constituted one continuous action of approximately 2 minutes in total, the doctor would charge double. When asked to manage and issue prescriptions he told the patient that he would have to charge prescription handling fees and that I was better off to let my other doctors do the prescriptions. The doctor would have no concern for the privacy and confidentiality of information about the patient and disclosed them to third parties without checking the scope or consent validity. The doctor provided adverse medical opinion to third parties about the patient without consideration of accepted medical findings and opinions and deliberately omitting and disregarding specialist medical advice. When confronted by the patient the doctor became despondent and interfered with the patient’s attempts to obtain his medical records and information. The patient vowed never to attend another consultation with this doctor and let other people know his experience. The doctor did not release the results of laboratory tests to patient. People, check your Medicare claims and payment records by using the Medicare app or myGov portal. You might be surprised like I was to find questionable charges and even charges for consultations you didn’t have or with doctors you have never seen. Get a copy of your medical notes to see if what is recorded really took place, you had a voice and whatever else has been recorded.

Most doctors are excellent especially Dr Faisal.I’m giving 1 star review as the reception staff are helpless. From answering (or not answering I shall say) phone calls, to being respectful to the patients.

This place has always been my favorite. Dr.Faisal he is a real legend. So helpful and always goes above and beyond. Reception girls are very friendly and kind. I’m no longer in the area but always happy to take the time and visit as I know that it’s worth the time and long travel. Keep up the good work!!!

On the same day as I left the review here, I have received a call from the clinic, they have been very patient in hearing me out on what has happened and seeking to positively resolve it. Much appreciated as i was being heard, and have received an apology for my bad experience.Dr Hannah Lee also called few weeks later, apologized for how her behavior has made me feel, stated it was not intentional and was only miscommunication. Hope this is solved now and things can move on and improve in the future.Dont get me wrong this is still a great clinic to go to, number of great doctors and receptionists are professional too.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Original review: Dr Hyun Ah Hannah Lee is the most impatient, unprofessional, defensive and passive aggressive doctor that I have ever experienced. I book an appointment with her for my partner for breaking his back. We went in on time, agreed to the $30 gap fee, sat down for 30mins to finally get to see her. We sat down and my partner described the incident and his back pain, and requested an x ray. Dr Lee said to us it’s no point to take x ray for it as it’s not the bone but the disc that is protruding so X-ray wouldn’t help, which is understandable. She then suggested CT scan, following by that, we asked a few questions on the difference of the two images, that’s when she started being really impatient by saying we are going in circles with X-ray, but we were not really questioning the X-ray. After that the wording she uses have become really passive aggressive. Through the whole conversation, she never initiated to examine or look at my partner’s back, until I told her that she didn’t need to get defensive we just want to gain some knowledge towards the images and any treatments. Just want to make a point, that a doctor that works in a public sector, we also paid a gap fee on it, waited for 30mins, we received such an unprofessional consultation, is completely unacceptable. Not sure what she has been going through in her life or work, but we don’t deserve to put up with an attitude as such. I have been going to this healthcare for the past 8years, seen a bunch of doctors there including Dr Faisal, Meena.Never ever experienced anything like this, they have all been nice, kind and patient in explaining the cause, treatment and reasons for conducting any imaging. Sad to see that the standard of being a doctor is so low now, and disappointing that there’s no rules or method in place to discipline how doctors treat patients. As patients what we could do is just to stick with our regular doctor, never go back to her. But I’m sure she still would be able to get away with an unprofessional attitude in the future.

We have been visiting the clinic for more than 6 years now. The staff has always been amazing - front of house, nurses, doctors have all been very helpful. They are extremely busy, but always ready for a chat and very patient. We have been patients of Dr. Faisal Q, and he has been amazing as our family doctor, always looking out for us and very reassuring and great to deal with.
