Awesome facility run by a world championship level coach. Nam is a great teacher for anyone high level or trying it for the first time. A great work out not just for the body, but for the mind. Friendly and welcoming atmosphere. If you have ever thought of trying Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, you should try it out. You won't regret giving it a shot!

Top notch coach Nam is one of the most down-to-earth and humble guys I've ever met and his attention to details while teaching is fantastic! The mat is amazingly comfortable and you are very unlikely to get injured during training session with Nam's supervision. Come and try an entire week of free BJJ classes, you will not only get fit but grasp several practical skills for self defence.

Really great gym - there's a broad range of different ages and experience levels. The instructor is super welcoming too - if you've been thinking about trying bjj this is a good place to start!

Amazing gym with high class instruction and a wonderful friendly atmosphere. Really grateful to meet and train with everyone here. Cannot recommend enough. The black belt Rodney is extremely knowledgeable and has a great attitude and personality. Wonderful experience.

Fantastic place to train BJJ! Nam is an excellent coach and a top level black belt. There are people of all levels and everyone is welcomed. If you live in the area and want to learn some self defence, get fit and have fun, this is the place to train.

Great place to train BJJ. Great coach, great team, loads of classes, no contracts, good vibes. After trying a few places around town I decided to train Brazilian Jiu Jitsu here because they made it so easy for me to join in.

While I was visiting Melbourne, I trained here for about five weeks. I can not say enough good things about Rodney and all the crew at SOJ. The training is top notch and the attitude of all students is impeccable. Very welcoming, friendly and a positive culture.In a short time, I leaned a lot. The wrestling class was excellent too.Thanks for having me Rodney!I hope to train with you all again when I’m back in town.

I have attended a few open mats at SOJ. The instructor is incredible and they have probably the best gym culture of anywhere I’ve trained. I highly recommend

I am from an affiliated gym and the owner was kind enough to let me come in to an open mat session. I found the gym and the students very welcoming and approachable and overall it was a very good experience. If you live in the area and have been thinking about giving jujitsu a try then i would definetly recommend goving the Science of Jujitsu a try.
