Wangi Point Holiday Park

The site we are on is a good size just needed to zigzag a little to get in, the staff happy and helpful, the amenities are clean and tidy, there is a nice camp kitchen and the water is just across the road, wangi is a central location so a good place to stay and see most things

Loved our stay here. What a location! Right on the lake, shady trees, heaps of bird life, great network of walking tracks adjacent to the van park, and cheap drinks at the Wangi Workers Club. What more could you ask for! Thanks to Jo from the office for adding so much to my knowledge of the local area. We will be back!!

Where's the minus a few stars rating?Horrible experience after people in nearby campsites kept making lots of drunken noise even after security asked them multiple times to quiet down. They moved to a cabin even cliser to us and kept up drunken shouting and literal roaring long into the night. After trying desperately to get some sleep we decided to pack up and leave, driving all night to get home.Owner was unable to enforce their own rules about noise and drunken behaviour, which lured us into the false idea that we would have a good night's rest there.Owner agreed to a refund, but reneged on their commitment. No integrity, no interest in doing the right thing. Intensely disappointing. We will actively discourage anyone from going here and supporting this kind of business.

We really enjoyed our visit on Site 33 at the waterfront. It rained a bit but it didn’t matter because we didn’t get wet and it sure didn’t bother the visitors!! We will be back! If you want to chill out with the locals this is the place. Great amenities too.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay . I have had family come and stay at wangi wangi caravan park on many occasions and everytime my family members loved their cabins . The cabins were cleaned to perfection without any doubt you were in a hygienically clean environment . The staff are all friendly and happy to help assist you with any issues, problems or services .I would recommend visa any staying here . Enjoy the views and the lake .

We put in a call to Wangi Caravan park when at the last minute our group of 24 were unable to stay where originally booked.We were so grateful to be taken on at the last minute, management did some jiggling around for us so our group could stay togeather.Lovely park, good bream fishing from the point , clean amenities, will go again.

Have been coming here for over 30 years & love the place, we have been here thru many managers who have been great, Sorry I can't say that about current lady manager who is extremely rude . They had a young girl on security for NY eve, if that is safe for the girl & the park, I think not,email managers

What an awesome place for views of the lake it’s a basic park but that’s perfect if that’s what your after. Sites are large with power and water. The park is right on the water so boat ramp and pier are all here for all the great water sports. Ample kitchen showers etc. expect to enjoy lovely breezes and birds with resident ducks.

Bad things// Old holiday or caravan park. For 3 days no one clean or fill up the soap box 2 toilets and 2 showers for men close to us. 47A and 47 not for tent only for caravan (2hours just to set up the tent and gazebo) rocks area not good for tent. Not good for swimming as the seaweed everywhere.Not bad things// fishing spots. Ramp not good but still u can use it for small boat or jetski. The lady behind the desk nice and helpful. Gas BBQ every where. Kids maybe enjoy with kayak and bicycle. 5min away it s IGA shop and petrol station. Finally if u ask me would you come back again or not I ll say NOT.
