It was a really interesting and soothing experience through which you could both meditate and also know more about Japanese culture and mindfulness practices.

I went to one of Flowwa’s incredible workshops at Laneway Learning and had such a beautiful experience. Kerry’s energy and the focus on mindfulness and accepting change as we worked on creating lovely pieces of art was so magical. Highly recommend!!

Kerry, who led our Flowwa workshop, offers a wonderful blend of kindness, knowledge, wisdom, scientific and psychological understanding, fun, creativity, cultural and historical insights, gentleness, authenticity, encouragement, humanity, empathy, cheerfulness, and a wealth of interesting life ventures, which all combine to make the workshop a great experience. I enjoyed the opportunity to try something new to me, and to gain insights through paying attention to the thoughts and feelings that arose while arranging the flowers and listening to Kerry's guidance. The other workshop participants were all great too. At the end of the workshop, we each had a lovely memento to take home with us in addition to our new life lessons and a greater sense of strength, calmness, and readiness to take on the world. Highly recommended!

It was a calming experience of selecting the flowers and arranging them in the bottle. It's a good opportunity to try this workshop as a hobby, if you are keen to explore your love for flowers.

I had a great time at one of Flowwa’s first classes. It was so fun and relaxing, the pressure of the day just rolled off. It was nice to meet people from all different professions and points of life. Everything was delivered very gently and easy—a class that is good for beginner artists, stressed people or people wanting to make friends :)

I had a lot of fun attending and shooting coverage for Flowwa’s Multicultural Wellness Festival, it was awesome to see how many people attended, and how much they enjoyed the activities.

Thanks for an enjoyable and rewarding workshop. When I was just about to leave, Kerry asked me if it was what I expected; I responded that it was. Later when travelling home and reflecting on the activity I realised that my response was correct but only in one sense. That is, by the end of the session I had created a beautiful floral piece in a glass container. But I realised too that the session was much more than that. What I had created was not only beautiful but also meaningful. I can't remember her exact words, but Kerry asked us to consider the flowers that she had on offer and choose one that stood out. This lead to me creating an arrangement that represents a person who was very important in my life. The colours and shape of the flowers represent the softness and love of that person, but also their strength of character, particularly in difficult times and their ability to connect to others and facilitate others doing the same. I thought I was going to the class to learn to create something that could be a gift for someone else. But it turned out that the process and the product were a gift to myself. I shall treasure what I created and what it represents.
