If you are looking for a professional service, these are the guys for you!! They re grouted and re waterproofed our two bathrooms. They were on time, friendly, placed drops sheets to protect our timber floors and carpets and cleaned up after themselves. We are extremely happy with the results. Would definitely use them again. Highly recommended!!!

Not good skill and attitude.After Peter's repairing, these two photos are the results. The leaking is still there and the floor is like this.Reply to your canned response:Yes, you think you have completed your job, but from my view, you did not, because it's still leaking.Before you work, you should have done the test to know why it's leaking, but you didn't; Now we have had someone else to do the job, and he did the test very well and know the exactly problem is, and it's not because the plumber, until now you still said it's because of plumber, that's your attitude to your customer;When you came to test, you should wait for a few minutes as I suggested, but you didn't;You said after your grouting, the floor will be super beautiful, I have attached the photo, do you really think that's super beautiful? or super ugly?That's I said you don't have good skill and I think it's fair;When I asked you to come have a check again, you said to charged me again if it's not your problem and I agreed, but you didn't come;How can people trust your warranty, you even didn't finish your job.That's why I said bad attitude.To be fair, I write my fault below, as a customer, if I can give myself a rating, I will give me one star also, because:1. I didn't quote other company then chose this poor service company -- 1 Choice Building Maintenance, just because their rating here is not too bad and have maintained so many years, but I was wrong;2. After agreed that Peter could come to work, he asked for cash pay, I should have refused and cancelled his job, but I didn't. Help him to avoid the tax, it's my fault;3. When he finished his job so quick, I paid full money to him. It's wrong, I should tell him before his job that I will just pay him when all the test have done, or just pay half of the price before test, but I didn't do that. It's my fault;4. When he got money and said, because of dirt, he couldn't give me the invoice at that time. It's fine, when you give me the invoice, I pay you money. But I didn't do that, then waste me lots of time to get my first invoice.5. Because it's still leaking, I asked him to come to have a check. He did the check of Pressure Test very rashly, I told him need to wait around 15 mins, but he said no need and made conclusion: leaking was because the taps and persuade me replace the taps, he called his friend to replace. And I am so stupid to agree. Then the second day, I paid extra money for the taps replace again for 15 mins job. That's my fault, if it's fixed, it's all right, but it's still leaking.6. I called Peter, he asked me to call plumber, before calling, I did the pressure test by myself, but just wait a little bit long time, then it's leaking. I called him again, and he said he would charge me if it's not his problem and I said it's okay. It's my fault that I was still waiting so long time for him to fix the problem, and everytime he always can find an excuse:I'm busy;I'm stuck somewhere;my son is sick;Isolation with kids at home;...It's my fault to trust a people like this to waste my own time.7. before Peter fixing, I should spend some time to know what's the problem was, but I didn't, then I agreed he could do both shower rooms, actually just only the small one leaking, if I've checked by myself then I don't need to regrout the big shower room, it's really my big fault.Thank you, Peter, because of you that I have learned so many things. And the last thing that I learned from you is the Pressure Testing to find out where it's leaking, I share this for anyone who is looking for fixing the shower leaking:Cover the sewer entrance with tape or toilet plunger, take water from other source other than shower onto the shower room floor, as deep as you can, if it's leaking, then it is floor problem. if it's not leaking, then the problem might come from pipe in the wall.Don't be lazy to do the check, otherwise you're going to lose you money and your time. Hope you learn the lesson from my faults.

Niki helped make the arrangements for Peter and George to arrive on a day of our choosing, not just their next available - they worked in with us.Peter and George were punctual, professional and courteous, and also fun and friendly. Both were really easy to talk to and deal with, and we had some good laughs through the morning when we went to check in on progress.The work looks great and we know that they really took the time to get into all the shower nooks and crannies to ensure that there should be no further issues.They left the bathroom very tidy and clean and also left us with a sense of confidence that the issue has been properly resolved.Peter set our expectations about when we could use the shower in a couple of days and how to best maintain it.It has been really and pleasurably easy to deal with Niki, George and Peter and definitely recommend them.

As a property agent of over 30 years, I have seen many methods being used in an attempt to repair various leaks with little long term success, that was until I was referred to 1st choice. I have been involved with quite a few jobs now with 1st choice being a few balconies and a shower repair. Whatever they do, they do it well. I have no issue recommending these guys, I will definitely be sending them more work.

Thank you Peter and George for the prompt and best job. I had a lifted tile and cracked tiles in my shower wall, which I needed to fix asap. This company respond very quickly and the job had done in next day. Very speedy and hard working guys. They even done extra sealing job outside shower room. So my whole bathroom looks all fresh. If your shower is not damaging property yet, this is the best maintenance method for the shower and tile with reasonable price and minimal time. New look freshened shower tile guaranteed with peace of mind.

The team once again did an amazing job cleaning, regrouting and waterproofing a bathroom for us.It looks great and saves us from having to remove the tiles and replace them.Highly recommend them!

I appreciate the work Peter and George on my external verandah. They undertake the work as per their quote and I’m pleased with the result. As well, I do really appreciate Niki’s responsiveness to my calls. I hope the works performed and the materials used will fix the leaks.

Below is are images of my freshly cleaned bathroom 6 weeks after these guys resealed our shower. The mould is actually in the silicone. The silicone has started to peel away in some parts. I dry my shower after use. Prior to this my bathroom had not been touched for 10 years and I have NEVER EVER had this much mould....my bathroom has two fans snd a window that stays open. When contacted, all they had to say was.... ' mould isn't coveted, we can get someone to come out and do it again'. Really? Are you going to commit to doing this every 6 weeks??? Oh and another thing, be aware that invoices are not itemised.

We both are retirees.  Our leaking balcony haunted us for years until we found 1 Choice recommended by PCP company. They are really reliable and have done a great job for us.
