It was really disappointing to liase with this business. I entered an online submission to inquire about organising a birthday cake for the near future. After a few days, I hadn't heard back from them so I thought it would be best to call them. When answering her phone, I did have to ask if this was 'Cakes for Charlie', as she answered very casually and there was a bit of background noise. The lady I spoke to was lovely- she said that nothing was a problem at all, which was very reassuring, as I really didn't have much of an idea of what I was after.The lady told me that she would send me some photos, pricing and sizing options for the cake; however I am yet to receive this information. I called again the following day, to make sure she had the correct contact details and the same lady told me that she had sent the info through. I apologised that I had not yet received it, and she said that she'd send it again.After hanging up with her for the second time and not receiving any messages for some time afterward, I sent through my details via text for a forth time (including the online submission). I am still yet to hear from the business, which unfortunately meant that I did not get a birthday cake organised in the time I needed it.It would have been nice to assist a small, local business, however this experience has really turned me off using this business in the future. Hopefully this feedback can help them from losing any further business.

Thinking Id have to go to Canberra for a cake that was out of the ordinary I came across Tamara from Cakes for Charlie. I had left my timing to only a few days before Lisa's birthday but I challenged Tamara to produce a birthday cake in the style of a Louis Vuitton handbag. Tamara delivered in styleThe cake itself was a piece of art so much so that we couldn't bring ourselves to cut it and Tamara even delivered it to us mid birthday dinner at the Fireside Inn. Needless to say everyone at the restaurant was gob smacked at the detail and uniqueness of the cakeOutstanding service Amazing Artistry!
