Australia Post - St Lucia South LPO

People who don’t know Rahul may think that he’s a curt etc but he’s actually very caring and try to help us as much as possible. If you only live in st Lucia for few months or so it’s easy to see how he seems to have a long line because he try to solve each person’s problem and it’s only one counter there. Post COVID every one wants to travel and dealing with the passport process can be like an arduous task especially when people come with lack of documentation etc. so be patient folks x

I'm living in St Lucia for almost 3 years and have been to this shop to do my business many times. I have seen an old man being there to serve customers but instead insulting and mocking them … I have seen people being disrespected by him because of their accents and today he disrespected me... . Yelling at me to leave the shop and telling me to never come back and threatening me to not serving me there anymore. Today I have been accused of sending him repeated documents to print , while I have the proof of the email I sent him, and no documents that I have sent him has been repeated even once. He overcharged me because of his mistake, he accused me of his mistake and then he yelled at me and called me rude in front of his co-workers and people, only because I asked for the amount of money which he overly and mistakenly charged me for.And since I have read other people's review I've decided to take this matter further. No one in this country should be behaved like this and no one who have been behaved unethically and violently as a customer should tolerate such people and behavior as a server.One star is more than what I intend to give, to this Australia's post office shop.

Love this place. The people are very nice and always helpful. I have not had any bad experience here but only with the postman who makes me go there.I don’t expect a 5 start hotel so I am not sure what others mean with their description. Yes, it maybe be small but I am only there to get packages, post stamps, or note pad. I’ve got them yes with little conversation but I have never thought of it afterwards and been happy with the service and purchase from the employees at this post office

It's a pity Google doesn't offer a zero star option. Absolutely abysmal customer service here. Did not attempt to deliver the parcel in the first place and then when I, as the sender, went to pick it up on behalf of my customer, wouldn't release it to me even though I had my Company ID, business card, photo ID drivers licence and the actual barcode on my phone needed to collect the parcel. Even the customer asked him over the phone to release it to me and he wouldn't.Probably best to boycott places like this so they have the privilege of providing the service taken away from them.Have reported to Australia Post business complaints.

Came here many times to pick up my parcels, the wait has always been long, which I understand since there's only one staff. Then again, he is very chatty and take the longest amount of time to some customers, even when there is a long line waiting. Picking up parcels is such a simple task but he makes it an ordeal for me, most interaction has been uncomfortable, he has a curt manner. On one occasion, he was lecturing me that I left it too late (it was not) as if he was my boss. We're your customers Rahul, please do not initiate your rudeness when we're anything but polite to you

Very slow, long queues specially in late afternoon, only 1 old person serving most of the times. They need to employ more people and do things little quickly

From my understanding this is a newsagency that also serves as a local Australia Post agent (so not responsible for postal deliveries etc). It does have busy patches but as a local I go here regularly and think the customer service is excellent.

I live just around the corner from this post office and i no longer go here, in fact the last time I went here I left in tears. On multiple occasions the owner has belittled me and made fun of me. The wait is always SO long as he does not care about people waiting. I have limited experience with posting parcels (im sure others relate) as it is not something I do on the daily like the owner, however he continues to get angry and say extremely condescending things to me when I ask questions.

Never installed the lock in my PO box so my key still didn't work after almost a year, never set up email notifications for PO box mail. Kept saying 'oh yeah sorry I'll do it soon' every time I went in to check for/collect mail. Basically paid for a PO box and never got it.Issue was eventually escalated to a case manager and the area manager by Australia Post customer service and I was refunded because I didn't get a single thing I paid for in a PO box. Took them ages to sort it out because Australia Post head office couldn't get in touch with the post office either, he just didn't bother replying to their enquiries apparently.Deserves 1 star because the guy was friendly, but he ought to be making burgers at McDonalds or collecting shopping trolleys in a car park, not running a post office. Astronomical levels of incompetence. Avoid at all costs.
