I was a little nervous for my first open ocean dive but my fears quickly dissolved when I met Jo and Nick. Their friendly demeanor and their top-quality equipment left nothing to be nervous about. They're professionals and take diving safety seriously and they are a TON of fun to hang out with! From Magnetic Island it took close to an hour by boat to arrive at the reef. The ocean was gorgeous and I'm wising I could take that boat ride every day! We dove on a day with one meter swells and to my surprise, the boat ride didn't make me feel seasick at all. I think that's because their boat is the perfect size for dive groups and they navigated very skillfully through the waves. The dives were unbelievably amazing, they brought us to a hidden part of the reef that doesn't seem to get a lot of traffic and as a result, everything was lush and the colors were beyond gorgeous. Right away in our first dive, we saw white tip reef sharks right away in our dive which is rare. The rest of the day was like a dream, Jo and Nick tailored the route we took based on our experience level and comfort in the water. They even treated us with warm tea, cheese, crackers and other snacks on the boat between dives. What an unbelievable day, I'm so glad we booked with Pro Dive!!

Hired equipment from these guys to do some shore diving. They couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating with plenty of advice about the best places to go. They went out of their way to help us with lifts etc. Thanks to Gemma and Stefan: very much appreciated.

Unprofessional diving center. We wrote them in Facebook to book a diving to the great barrier reef. After 2 weeks they answered we could have booked the tour on Oct 28th.We confirmed it in Facebook and they never replied. When we arrived on Magnetic Island we went to the diving center but they told us that no diving tours were scheduled for that day.The timetable on their website is completely fake. They ruined our trip to Magnetic Island because we have not been able to see the GBR.

Yesterday I rented some dive gear from Pro Dive, so I can discover the Moltke Shipwreck. Gemma and Sammie at the shop were very helpful, gave me excellent, practical advice about the wreck. The rental Gear was in good condition, looked like well maintained, they take good care of it after many people are using it.The Moltke wreck is a majestic thing to see, I spent a fantastic time diving around it and checking it all out. When I returned the rental gear I met Brendan and Jenna, who were just as friendly and helpful than their colleagues in the morning.Overall, I highly recommend Pro Dive and their services to everyone!

Didn’t turn up on the scheduled Wednesday dive. Two other snorkelers with me. No prior notification of cancellation. No one picking up phone calls. Website has scheduled Wednesday morning dives running every week, despite answering machine saying they are only open Thursday to Sunday. Online system took our money. Better call them up before you book their Wednesday dives.

It's a shame that there’re people as disgustingly racist as the owner of this place.21st century and on an island that lives off tourism, a sector in which 90% of the backpackers that Australia receives work.Backpackers who also want to dive, backpackers who keep a business like this alive. You’re disgusting and I DONT recommend this place at all.Y andate a LA PüT4 QUE TE PARI0, B0B0.

All of they staff members, I had interactions with are friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable.Gemma in the shop, gave us fantastic advice about the course, and also Diving and snorkelling around Magnetic Island.During my course, my Diving instructor Brendan, and his associates Sammie and Jenna was friendly but also professional. We have had a good experience with this dive centre. Used it for our one day dive trip to Museum of Underwater Art at GBR. The diving museum is small and will take you no longer then 10-15 minutes but the John Brewer Reef is next to it and you will end up diving there for your two dives. We also hired some stinger suits there to do some snorkelling around Magnetic Island.Overall we had a good experience and a good day of diving. The crew was professional and looked after us well. We had two dive masters with us on the dive. The great weather helped a lot as you need to be aware that the trip is at least two hours one way on a boat. There is enough space on it and it has got a marine toilet which helps a lot. I can imagine however that in more rough conditions that trip can be uncomfortable.Overall, I would recommend it to do that trip once you are on the island itself, not worth going specifically for it, but if you are there then it can be a great day out.If you can combine it with Yongala wreck then it would be even better experience

Booked into the open water dive course last minute and ended up having a great time. Dive Master Jemma and intern Sammie were really great and made me feel very comfortable in the water despite my being nervous initially. Jemma in particular was incredibly knowledgeable of all things diving! The course was also very affordable and I only wish I had time to stick around to do some diving off the boat following the course (so if you get a chance make sure you save an extra day following your course to do that!)

A few days ago a friend of mine was insulted because of her birthplace and verbally abused on her workplace by the owner of this company.A police record has been initiated and there's not much they can do.By sharing this situation I want to create awareness as this being a terrible back step within the society. Have a good day
