I must say I was recommended these guys by a mate. My line trimmer needed a new spark plug and a service. The fella I spoke to looked totally disinterested and annoyed I walked in the door. I was told that they had no time till mid late Jan, and by the looks of it would not be worth doing, just better off getting a new one!I walked out very disappointed, but I went to diagonal road saw a competitor and $60 later had a line trimmer running at full pace like new. Found this advice pretty disappointing as the trimmer is a stihl and is only a few years old. Just needed a clean, check and a spark plug. Won’t be returning fellas.

After checking the website I had high expectations of the level of service and advice - the expectations were unfortunately not met when I went looking for a replacement blade for my machine. My dad and I were told that the replacement we had previously done on his machine could not be done to mine. I subsequently left, drove to the next closest shop I could find and got the expertise and parts that I needed.

when we rang, the kid on the phone said they could service our lawnmower, and didn’t ask the type of lawnmower we had. however, i was extremely angry when i got there in the poring rain and was told that the lawnmower i have cannot be serviced. i believe this is poor customer service as they didn’t inquire about the model of my lawnmower and turned me away when i made the effort to come all the way down to the shop. very poor and unprofessional behaviour from the staff. very disappointed.

I had taken my Brush Cutter to another repairer and was told parts were not available and that it was not even useful for parts. I went to Dad and Jerry's and within a few weeks I had it back working better than ever and at a very reasonable cost. Good to find a business that has integrity rather than one that is looking for a quick sale.

After taking my Victa mower locally 4 times and still not being able to start it, an acquaintance suggested Dad and Jerry's and said they had a good reputation. In due course I took it to Brighton and must say I was very impressed with the staff and the job done. I have now used the mower twice and each time it started first time, and the fact there is a 6 month warranty on the work done is an extra bonus. In future if I have a lawnmower problem or eventually need a new one, Dad and Jerry's will be my go to shop. Thanks guys, great job.

I recently took my whipper snipper in for repairs to the primer bubble. The work was finished quickly and efficiently. The price was very reasonable.I have since taken my mower in for a full service.The team is very friendly and I recommend them.

Went in looking for a new brushcutter, young lad recommended an echo one based on my requirements. Helpful bloke, sorted me all put and the cutter works amazing. Good product, good price, great experience.
