Chemist Warehouse Gungahlin Marketplace

This place isn’t really a chemist at all they have limited prescription drugs available and a lot of over the counter medications aren’t available most of the store is vitamins and perfumes. Scripts take 45 minutes to get filled and the staff look at you blankly when you ask for where things are. I can’t recommend you go there for anything but perfumes it will cost you more for your medications but go somewhere else for your own sake.

When I got to the desk to hand in my script the woman literally shrugged, looked at me puzzled and said “so like, what do you want?” Before I’d even said anything. I nearly said something to her because it was so incredibly rude, but I bit my tongue. Incredibly rude.Oh and my script took 50 minutes to fill…only good thing is the great prices

Poor management and customer services.Most of the staff were unknowledgeable about their price match/beat policy, unhelpful and rude. A few girls (Australian, Middle Eastern and Asian girls) showed their attitude when I asked them to do price beat. If you don’t want to do it, don’t do it and remove the policy from the whole company. I was paying for your products, I was not begging you to give me discount.This is your company policy, you should know about it and assist your customers in a better manner.

Gave them scripts and was told to come back the next day to pick up meds. The following day, they tell me that they do not have my scripts, and blame me for leaving it with them. This has happened twice now. Really not happy with the service here

Multiple pharmacist and the pharmacist in charge are very unaware of and unwilling to meet their obligations in regards to escripts. They would prefer to have people reliant on medications, wait for a psychiatrist to fix their technical issue. Cause psychiatrist aren’t busy enough in this city and unable to be contacted at the best of times.I contacted the Australian Digital Health Agency which overseas the escript program and they informed me of the procedure the pharmacy should take. After I informed them of this, they still didn’t have a clue how to contact the vendor of their software. It is outrageous to me that a pharmacy is unaware of how to contact the company supplying them with computer software. Shows a total disregard for their patients, that they are willing to not fix their issue but instead wait around for a doctor to just reissue the script.Not only that, I asked to speak to the pharmacist in charge, had a lengthy discussion with them to only find out when I rang after leaving store, that i was not speaking to the PIC after all. Chemist warehouse has always had subpar service, but everyone puts up with it because of their prices. But to blatantly divert troubleshooting their own error, is downright neglectful of their healthcare obligations. Hopefully one day their shonky practices will catch up with them, but I imagine while they are still racking in bucket loads of money they will not care. A complaint as been placed with the pharmacy guild and regulatory authority in the ACT. I’ve also passed on the entirety of information relating to this ‘transaction’ to the ADHA who will hopefully be in touch with them and train them how to manage something they should be pros at in order to operate: scripts.Not that it will scratch their wallets, but I won’t be returning and have asked for my escripts already in file, to be sent back to me. They haven’t done that yet either.

Very busy place that take’s getting used to the huge variety of products.I’ve found the staff to be friendly and helpful.The pharmacists are flat out because of their workload so it’s really a good idea to give them a few hours if you can.The App also takes time to figure out and despite the terrible reviews I’ve found it very useful for ordering scripts and click and collect.

Please train your security guard to read the receipt. Also, lying that the security alarm went off was appalling: It didn’t. I presented the receipt and was subjected to unwanted hostile attitude. Such a thug! Do better.

I ordered for click and collect earlier this week. Once I came home and opened the bag 1 item was missing. I had raised a complaint and so far no one has got back to neither is the store picking my call. Disappointed with the service.

Just tried to get through to the chemist by phone... it says the selections have recently changed and so I follow the directiosn only to be told the 'office is currently closed'...wt??? the office??? Now to begin with you are or were open when I phoned and if you can not get your own phone system correct, how are we to trust you can get our scripts correct... dodgy as

Janette/janelle (the older lady) at the script dispensary is extremely rude. The other pharmacists never smile as well but thats ok, what’s not ok is almost being yelled at or being judged by someone who is supposed to help others. I thought it was only me due to my skin colour and religious outfit but looking at these reviews, I can see almost everyone has been harassed by this sad and bitter woman. Chemist warehouse is not going to read this review and do anything about it, but just wanted to share.
