Beautiful brunch, highly recommended both really enjoyed our meals. The banana bread was delicious and eggs Benny yum. Staff very friendly, beautiful view of the gardens and an outdoor balcony.

Really pricey but it's worth it for the atmosphere at the terrace on a sunny day! Only 1 vegan option available, we would've appreciated few more! The view is really beautiful and the presentation as well.

Date/time of visit: 7 July 2022, 2:30pmI was really surprised and impressed by the menu options and the taste of the food. There were traditional menu items and a lot of items that I haven't seen/experienced at other restaurants, or even heard of elsewhere (in Australia). Initially, when you review the menu, the prices may seem a little high (for what you were expecting to be a low key cafe in the middle of the botanic gardens :-); but when the food arrives, the quality and taste is immediately evident. Consequently, the prices are very good. The wait staff were great. The setting is also lovely and relaxing. I knew nothing of the restaurant before this visit...as I said, I was expecting a low key cafe not fine dining (but my prior experiences were in the late 1980s :-) ). I would gladly return and would recommend this restaurant.

Great restaurant, staff are really knowledgeable about the menu and are friendly & helpful! Might be a bit on the pricier side but definitely worth it!

We popped in for morning tea to Succulent Cafe today. It was a very drizzly damp morning but we were comfortable enjoyed our visit. The most enjoyable part was the Devonshire tea. The scones were honestly the best scones I've ever had in my life. Beautiful and light in the middle, not doughy, and there was a crisp thin crust. Perfect with their tangy raspberry jam and clotted cream, real cream! Worth travelling from Brisbane for. Most enjoyable and friendly staff.

Great location, good food and friendly staff. I’d have given it 5 stars if not for the long wait for the food (30 minutes+) for a BLAT.

Very nice food but poor customer service, waitress showed that she would rather be elsewhere.Try and avoid take away area for coffee and ice cream, very disorganised, coffee half made and then front of house staff disappeared, returned 5 minutes later!!! No one seems to know what they are doing or who they have served.Maybe need training in attending to quality customer service.

Food is exquisite in taste and quantity is a good size. Sitting above the gardens is relaxing. Price for food and drinks is reasonable however don't expect cheap.
