NumberWorks'nWords Tutoring Leichhardt

My two kids love to go to Numberworks’n’Words each Saturday as it has accelerated their enjoyment and success in Maths.The team of amazing staff ,since our first day ,have inspired my kids into striving to complete topic tests , which turns the place into a spontaneous momentary disco! Now THAT is cool.

My 10 year old has been attending Numberworks n Words for 6 months now and I am so pleased we decided to send her there! She was struggling with maths and as a result was low on confidence.I feel that now her self esteem has massively improved as well as her understanding and comprehension of maths strategies and fractions. They work along side the curriculum at school to ensure there isn't any confusion and that there is reiteration and repetition to help learning.I would definitely recommend Numberworks to anyone.

Lauren and the team have really helped and inspired our 2 children.One child needed extension to unlock his giftedness where various public and private schools we tried have failed over the years. He has been under performing for years with his teachers at school unable to understand what giftedness means and what is required to help him to avoid developing into disinterested underachievers despite our constant requests.Our other son has been struggling to keep up with the pace of school for years and developed low interest in a number of subjects. Once we were turned away from a coaching school whom we thought would help him with his struggles in school. The reason was that he did not pass the entry test. We since understood how those coaching places manufactures high HSC marks due to their selective nature to start off with. We were ignorant to think that they exist to genuinely help students in real need.We have only started at NumberWorks'nWords Leichhardt less than 6 months and the results have been amazing. Not only that academically the impacts have been incredible through the NAPLAN results that we have have just received, more importantly the self esteem, confidence, and passion towards learning have been nurtured. One child's NAPLAN scores were literally off the chart, showing his level way beyond his academic years. This is a result we have not seen before in any academic settings despite him being psychologically tested as gifted. Our other son scored above national and his school average, he is amongst the 30% of his cohort that are eligible to sit for HSC from this test rather than having to try out again in following years. This is more emotional for us as it has lifted our son whom has always been overlooked and underperforming in his academic journey. This has rippling effect towards his positive well being and character formation in general.The boys have always said to us how much fun they are having and we can also see how patient and passionate the educators are. Lauren and the teachers also take genuine interests in their non academic lives and in a way are their friends. We hear stories of games, fun music, prizes etc in their process of learning. Once again thank you to Lauren and the team for all the great effort.

I can’t rate this enough. We have seen real results in our child after trying many different and more expensive alternatives.The staff make it fun for kids who can’t wait to come.Thank you Lauren and the team I am very grateful for the wonderful service you offer.

We were recommended NumberWorks’nWords by a friend who has seen a big improvement in her child’s confidence in Maths and English since starting tutoring.My child went for a free two hour assessment for Maths and English to determine her level and observe the way she solved problems. We were then given recommendations on what classes could benefit my child. My child really enjoyed the session which really surprised me!The staff are super professional and friendly. I recommend that you give it a try.

My Y8 daughter jumped 10 marks and was above school average compared to same maths exams last year. Pre-exam prep with tutors plus a term of fixing Y7 gaps made all the difference. A great service. Would use again.

Is really helping to build my year 7 sons confidence and capability.He is always happy to go to Numberworks, the environment is fun and the tutors have new ideas and strategies to make maths make sense.Its early days but we are also starting to see his efforts are being rewarded through his results
