I came to vanidols in the 1990s in North Hobart. The owner has moved to South Hobart. The food was fantastic then and still is today. I can see why he has lasted for this long period of time.Still great, thanks for looking after us again. We will be back.

Wonderfully fresh, warm spices, just perfect. Seafood basket and green curry was amazing. Don’t skip the duck wrap.

Vanidol's Asian Cuisine South Hobart
We had a super meal at Vanidols South Hbt last night. Staff were excellent, welcoming and efficient. Started with duck wraps, would like recipe please !! Absolutely great starter followed by butter curry chicken and lamb curry, both with great depth in the curry flavour. We accompanied this with an XO Pinot Syrah from SA, excellent choice to complement the dishes and great to be able to BYO wine with a $13 corkage fee. Thank you to all staff, we shall return soon.
