I had my hair and makeup done for my graduation and was in love. They listened to everything I wanted and it was perfect!! Chloe did my makeup and she was just fantastic. Thanks so much to Meraki Hair Salon!!!!

I have been to Meraki countless times and every single time I’ve been, it has been outstanding! I was lucky enough to have Kate do my hair for my 18th and many of my special events over the years. The whole team is absolutely lovely and the experience is like no other. Wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Are you looking for a loud, fun and modern salon? Yes? Then this is for you. Great music, TV to watch, entertaining and chatty hairdressers . You can tell they are happy to work there by how well they all get along. They stock and use Olaplex, this really makes the difference when you have damaged hair and/or are using bleach. My hair has never been healthier and I always feel so beautiful once I leave the salon.

Two weeks before my wedding I found myself in search of a new hairdresser after having to reschedule due to COVID restrictions. Despite the fact I was not an existing client of Meraki, Kate bent over backwards to not only accommodate the bridal party, but squeeze in the groom party AND both the mums of the bride and groom as well!! Kate went above and beyond, rescheduling existing appointments and offering anything and everything in her control to ensure our experience was completely stress-free. The Meraki team brought such a positive, uplifting energy and vibe the day of our wedding which was so good to have around. We are so incredibly grateful for Kate, her generosity and genuine care – it’s funny how things work out. Big love!!

I picked this place because of their amazing colours. However I ended up walking out with hair that looked faded and uneven. When I said I wasn't happy, I got Palmed off to another hairdresser and dismissed when I said that it's not my hair. Even to the point where the hairdresser asked for photos when I got home and finished it myself. When I sent the photos, I had no response or acknowledgment that they stuffed up.Did I mention that parts of my hair have snapped off? The front of my hair... 7 inches. 7 inches snapped off. When I told them this I got a oh sorry" was waiting for an offer of a treatment or a haircut... nope. Nothing.So all in all. Fried hair

Have had my hair done here in 2015/16 with wonderful results. Came back in late 2018 and was given brassy coloured hair when I asked for white. I complained and they redid my hair - awesome. All good until when I arrived in the salon they treated me like I was the problem. Didnt like the lack of accountability and especially didnt like the way the owner stood over me while my hair was being bleach bathed, telling me how my description of white blonde wasnt adequate enough. Not a fan of having people standing over me to patronize my ability to describe white hair. Anyway, the redo was still brassy but better than how it was. I wouldn't have bothered to write the review regarding the hair if it wasnt for the lack of accountability. The way I was patronized still irks me to this day. Have been doing my own hair from then on, turned off from going to any hairdresser again. - Please be more receptive to criticism moving forward

Clean salon, friendly, courteous staff. However, got a hair cut and specifically asked for enough length (shoulder) so I could tie it back still. What I ended up with was a long-ish bob (ugh), that was so short at the nape of the neck (1 inch) I can't put it up in a pony tail. Although it looked ok from the back at the time, it feels like it's been really thinned out and the sides left way longer so they get kind of boofy around my ears. :( Whatever, it will grow out.BUT ... when I looked on the website before booking it said $60. At the time of book they did let me know prices have gone up, so the cut would be $70. Okay. In these days I can understand. After the cut it was $80!!! Seriously. I was getting my hair cut for $25 on the peninsula, so I really did expect something a lot better.So you can appreciate I won't be coming back.

Staff are friendly and welcoming and always a feast job.
