The Good Guys Tamworth

This place is the most pleasant shopping experience for goods in Tamworth, the staff are great the Manager is such a nice bloke and the storeman out the back is polite and fast thank you good guys Tamworth

I ordered a steamer almost a month ago, and it was supposed to receive it by 8-Jan. I followed up with them four times after 8-Jan , and they finally told me that they did not order the steamer at all !!!

If I were just giving stars for in store service, I would give a solid 5. The young man who served us was knowledgeable and personable The problems arose when our purchases arrived. We unboxed our dishwasher and found a massive dent but because it would be more trouble to send back we just sucked it up. Yesterday I unboxed our black bar fridge, yeah, it’s white. Can’t be bothered sending it back but it’s bloody frustrating when your goods arrive damaged or just wrong.

Just want to Say a huge thank you to Travis for my making my experience alot more welcoming then my initial welcoming. I am an ex employee of the store and for the floor manager to take a wide birth of me and then to go up too other staff member and do the same is so unprofessional. It was just lucky I knew what i wanted and Travis looked after me. First thing I was always taught all customers are equal, an we don't discriminate. So thanks Trav again.

Fantastic service from Zach and Dane recently with my faulty Breville coffee machine. After receiving terrible service from Breville, Zach took up the fight for me. Thank you for the coffee beans also.

Im sure the Fridge itself will be great BUT we asked for a LEFT HAND HINGE and they didn’t tell us WE need to organise someone to change the hinge over. We live 2 hours from Goodguys so the cost will be high. IF we were told this then it could of been change since shop before delivery. Caution make sure you check before delivery.

We arranged a click and collect item - received a notification to say it was ready for collection. Even rang the store to nominate the name of the person collecting the item. Not once did anyone advise us that the item wasn't actually available at all. Drove 40km from out of town for nothing. Whilst I understand these things happen the staff blatantly lied to my husbands face trying to make an excuse for the stuff up. To make matters worse we weren't issued a refund at the time as apparently they only process these once a week and it has to go via their Melbourne head office. Waited days for a refund. The refund process is a poor reflection of the Goodguys management and not the staff who have to enforce it. The staff tried to be as nice as possible.

What a dreadful first-time experience shopping at the store. Our Delonghi coffee machine broke down a few months after we purchase it and we just picked it up after repairs: five weeks after dropping it off at the store. Worse still: it arrived in-store on March 18 and we were only notified on March 28 that it was available to pick up - and that only occurred because I called the store to find out what was happening. What had been an enjoyable consumer/life experience - our first coffee machine - has been badly tarnished. We got no apology either.
