Elgas Gold Coast

We manage a property that has 4x45 kg bottles to service the tankless hot water heaters for 12 units. The bottles ran out leaving the tennants without hot water (not the fault of Elgas) but arranging to have them filled was a terrible experience.First call was made at 4.45pm. They advised that it would be a while but would have someone there within 4 hours. I waited at the property from 8.45pm calling to find out when they would be there. I was advised that they were unable to contact the on call" driver and they had no idea when they would be there

Never on time. always got a excuse why it didn't arrive..take time off work to be here ...they don't turn up...time to look around for another supplier..

I have to say I have never experienced such horrible customer service through Elgas, Gold Coast. They delivered a leaking tank and when we realised they came to ‘fix’ it with a spannner and left us out of pocket for the gas that was lost which was practically the entire tank. Most of the staff at the customer service call centre are extremely rude and they love to over charge and play games with levels of gas.I will definitely be changing if my current problem is not resolved which I have very little faith that it will. I’ll be making sure they know about it including the Ombudsman if they don’t fix this one. I have been a customer for 7 years as a home owner at the same residential address and have had nothing but woeful customer service. The call centre staff treat you like a third class citizen, absolutely disgusting, do not use this company!

Been a customer for 6 years big mistake I use one 45kilo a year they insisted I had to have two bottles for safety reasons and charge me service on two.These bottles are there property no t sure why customers have to pay extra fees.Also swap and go charge for upfront bottles but no refund.Go elsewhere

Worst customer service ever, receptionist at the Burleigh headquarters clearly hates her job but she doesn't have to take it out on the customer. The guy who came to change the canisters this morning deliberately made enough noise to wake up the neighbourhood, and had a personality to match the receptionist.Update:But then I got a call from the manager, Ben, who was great and has sorted the issue. So I've upgraded the rating to four stars.

Customer service is a joke 2hrs 12mins in across 4 calls seems to automatically hang up around the 42minute mark…

Have serviced me for many years now. Pretty easy to use and competitive rate. Have been happy with their service and any time i ran out of gas or need extra its really easy to call and just organise.

Horrible service have changed rules now we must be home for them to change the bottles over. We both work so that can't happen looks like new provider time. Wouldn't be so bad if they gave us warning not wait till we are out and trying to order.
