There really isn't much to do here but I guess you get to see something different. You can do a nice walk towards the coastline and the view might be different during sunset! Bring a surfboard and you can surf in the sand, would be a fun activity for kids too.

The dunes were a cherry on top the whole day in the area. I had a lot of fun. The views from the dunes are stunning.

Take the 2nd exit to peron dunes. 1st exit takes you to some grassy dune hills. 2nd turn to the right marked as Peron dunes will get you to the high sandy dunes that are great for the kids to get some exercise running and rolling up and down them. A tough little 3 minute trek to get to the top but worth it for the amazing view and fun had

This was really cool, you dont need to pull all the way in as its very rough road and does not really take you in much further, so you can park a car near the road. Short walk up into the dunes with great views of dunes and the ocean. If you wanted to walk all the way to the water it would probably take 30 minutes maybe. To get up the hill to the dunes is like 5 min walk.
