Surat New Royal Hotel Motel
We stayed at the caravan park in a motorhome with our dog, so purchased takeaway from the hotel which was excellent! Very good value for money and fresh with lots of salad and veg. A walk along the fully paved river side after was very enjoyable.

Food was below average, they don't know how to cook a steak and most of there food is microwaved. The service is pretty bad it seems like they don't know where they should be there is 2 bars but rarely anyone at them which means you wait about 10-30 minutes for a drink. Very disappointed in the whole place.

I was coming into Surat late after a site visit with a local family to discuss their renovations with Lockhart Design. I called ahead to order a steak and chips takeaway. The meal was so delicious and handy to be able to pick up on the way through.

Awesome little pub, cool atmosphere with lots on the menu for a small little town, meals were beautiful along with the service! Added bonus of pokies to spend a bit of time ! Overall worth the stop and a good experience!

Stayed in caravan park. Lovely little park. Great hot showers . Lovely roast dinner at pub although very noisy.

The atmosphere is awesomeI've eaten there 3 times now and all 3 times have been amazing. Big meal, well presented and the palmy is delicious

OK pub, meals well presented but at $60 for a mixed grill and a palmy, the palmy was out of a box look and size, the mixed grill had a good size steak but 50% gristle and the fat on the lamb chop was just on the edge of going off :(Less than happy

Surat New Royal Hotel Motel
We stopped here randomly but boy was it worth it! This quaint pub has such friendly staff, so attentive and helpful. The meals were roughly cost what you would expect from an average pub, but the quality of the meals is well above average. They were fresh and tasty. We decided to stay overnight and the room was fantastic, away from the main road, bed was so comfortable. Anytime I travel through this way I will make time to stop here and so should you!

Surat New Royal Hotel Motel
We only stayed for a lunch meal and what a wonderful surprise it was. I had the fish, and the salad was the freshest I have had in a long time. The chips were cooked to perfection. The Greek wrap was excellent also. All for $10 each meal.

Great pub, also has Cafe and gift shop,both worth a visit, camped at fishermans Park just out of town,
