Spartan Appliances

We've always gone straight to the usual big box places when shopping for appliances but our builder suggested we tried Spartan and we couldn't be happier. For our selection Spartan were able to match or beat the big box sale prices and the customer service from sales through to delivery has been first class. They will be our first stop next time we upgrade.

Pretty good selection without the pressure sales approach. Haven't made our choice yet, but think Spartan could get our business.

It’s been a year now since our kitchen renovation and the appliances we bought from Spartan Electrical have performed superbly every day. Looking back now, the range that Spartan offered outshone every other retailer and the knowledge of the staff gave us confidence in our selections.

I was extremely happy with the service Trent provides at Spartan. His product knowledge was excellent, and we got the perfect appliances to maximise the space in our small kitchen. I had done some research online, but ended up with different things after discussing things with Trent. I'm very pleased I didn't order online because I would not have got the right options! I am also very happy to support a long-standing Adelaide business.Delivery, like the whole process, was seamless. I highly recommend the team at Spartan.

I would have preferred to give a local company my business, but they didn't seem particularly interested in earning it. I called asking about a particular model of refrigerator - the response was vague. They didn't have it, no idea when they would get it - ok, fine. There wasn't any offer for an alternative option. The person I spoke to was quite rude, short, and seemed to want to just get me off the phone. That brief interaction was enough to write off any chance of a visit to one of their stores.

A big thank you to Spartan Electrical at Torrensville, especially James and Phay for their exceptional customer service. They were both incredibly helpful in guiding me through the various options of appliances, sink and tap ware for my new kitchen. They were very responsive when timelines were brought forward for appliance installation and made sure I was included in promotional offers. Having a cooking demonstration to learn first hand about the functions of my new Siemens oven was fabulous. Thank you

Definitely would not recommend using this company. Once they have your money the customer service stops and you have to chase them up, the first time we followed up were given a generic response, the second time we followed up they actually bothered spending 30seconds to look at our order and realised the stock hadn’t been allocated to us (17k order btw). Also FYI when they say if you pay upfront that reserves your stock that’s only if they remember to allocate the stock to you! The salesman blamed the stock room for not allocating it but I don’t know who’s responsible for that. I’m honestly not sure if they are being dodgy or just super incompetent but either way avoid these guys like the plague. And the one stock item that was an end of line product that took Spartan nearly 2 months to deliver an ex demo instead of the new one we paid for (despite new being in stock when I ordered and paid- but I was told they would wait til they had everything before they sent it out which is odd given on review of the invoice recently I noticed it said everything was in the warehouse) anyway I got the NEW item in less than 24hours from appliancesonline.com.au, I had no idea they had a big warehouse in Adelaide and I’m generally not a fan of ordering online but would definitely recommend appliances online.

Fantastic customer service, honored a quote that was a couple of months old and Nick helped me get the last oven (that I wanted) in stock in SA, followed up with me and confirmed that I was able to get it. Check Spartan out.

Went in to buy a new oven, totally ignored by the staff and we were the only ones in the show room. Young lady got up from her desk and proceeded to stand there drinking her glass of water. Not what I call good customer service

Best appliances store in Adelaide for a cross section of ranges and well setout display of medium to high end home appliances and also cheaper than the big names. Ours was was a pleasurable experience with a knowledgeable and very friendly staff, in particular Alexandra who went out of her way to discuss the various pros cons of our product. Within an on hour she had emailed a reply to our questions and for us, sealed a sale. Both management and staff are friendly and a pleasure and fun to deal with. Thank you to the team . Highly recommended.
