Relationships 180 - Dr Stephanie Azri

Prior to seeing Stephanie, I was in a very unstable place within myself. I found it difficult to function on a day to day basis, and was not capable of making decisions for myself or put myself first. Stephanie was able to work with me and guide me in working on strategies to help me overcome and/or manage my struggles and mental health. She was able to work with me and within my capabilities, help me push myself to reach my goals, and create strategies that personally benefitted my struggles. I do not recognise the fragile person that I was when I began to see Stephanie. I used to think that I was unable to further my education, unable to withhold a relationship and unable to put myself first. Today I hold a stable job, I am a university student, and I have just reached being with my partner for a year and a half. I am the happiest I have been in a very very long time. I am forever grateful for Stephanie’s guidance. Would recommend 10/10 any day of the week.

Dr. Azri is not only highly skilled and educated, she truly cares about the people who come to see her. She is a such a gift of knowledge and encouragement to Queensland.

There are so many wonderful things about Dr Azri but simply she is amazing. A phycologist I respect and trust. In times of urgent appointments she made herself available, which I will forever feel grateful for those sacrifices and time that takes her from family. I have seen Dr Azri for many many years, if I could bottle up her incredible counsel and professional warm loving personality I would give it to everyone, everyone needs a Dr Azri.

Dr Stephanie Azri is amazing. She has helped me through many obstacles in my life; becoming a teen mother, parenting, marriage advice, postnatal depression and help dealing with highly stressful situations in my life. Dr Stephanie Azri is a highly experienced and incredible therapist! I would recommend her to my own family and friends, and have referred patients to her for counselling- with wonderful results. She has published a number of fantastic books- easy to read, and offering practical skills and helpful strategies you can apply that really make a difference. Hard to choose, but my favourite is “The REAL guide to life as a couple” - and I recommend it everyone & anyone in a relationship!

I would highly recommend Stephanie if you are looking for a counsellor who is non-judgemental, listens with kindness and compassion, and supports you to problem solve any issues you are facing. Stephanie makes you feel understood and not so alone through things. Stephanie is also very knowledgeable and explains things in a way which is easy to understand and apply. I would encourage anyone to see Stephanie!

Dr. Azri brings a great balance of listening and challenging the thoughts you share. She walks you through the logic of everything and always makes you feel safe enough to open up. You can tell she continuously is learning in her field, on top of her several years of experience, to bring the best and most relevant advice to her clients.

I have found Dr Azri to be both a kind and compassionate counsellor, who really takes the time to listen and understand. Dr Azri immediately made me feel at ease and I found her to extremely knowledgeable. I came away from my session with more clarity and purpose. I highly recommend Dr Azri.
