Fantastic meal overlooking the golf course. Had the grilled prawn and chicken salad. The ingredients are so fresh. Highly recommended.

Bluewater Grill
We ordered scotch fillet steak and dock for dinner. The food was good, but it seemed that some of the vegetables in the dishes were frozen and not fresh.

Very good food but unfriendly and cold staff at the restaurant.They also let me book for 7.30pm when the kitchen closes at 8pm, and that wasn’t mentioned anywhere on the booking page, which made us feel very rushed.

A nice place to sit and relax, especially outside looking out onto the golf course. The lady at the restaurant was very nice with me but the staff at the counter weren't the most friendly.For a self service club eatery the prices are a little on the expensive side, however, looking around, the portions looked very decent. My meal though wasn't as big as other dishes. I got the duck, however it was way over cooked, dry and also slightly on the cold side. Seemed like it was overcooked at some other point and then quickly reheated with a lot of plum sauce from a jar. Duck is a delicate meat, if you're going to have it on the menu, please give it the respect it deserves.Also why is reception refusing entry if you're not double vaccinated. I'm vaccinated but that restriction was removed over 2 months ago.

Good selection of meals that are well above your average club grub. Nice views over the golf course with regular appearances of kangaroos add to the experience.

Highly recommend having dinner here. A good variety of meal options, generous sized portions and the food is delicious. Great for families with a dedicated kids play area. Not too expensive compared to other restaurants. One of our regulars during our holidays in Nelson Bay.

Visited on Monday 12th SeptWe ordered the Chicken Schnitzel with extra Pepper Sauce and the Grilled Snapper Fillet, as well as a Carlton Balck schooner and a glass of Brydon Lions Sauv BlancIt was unexpected to be located within a golf club when it was booked since we're not locals, and maybe because of the time we went, we couldn't even catch the glimpse of the Golf in actionThe Chicken Schnitzel was huge, something I haven't seen anywhere for a very long time, the breadcrumb was very thin and the chicken was very meaty - highly recommended - unfortunately the sauce didn't come with it and I had to order and pay an extra $2 for that tiny dish, and there was small blobs that most likely been in the fridge and not freshly madeThe Snapper Fillet was a decent sized portion but it was salty and dry. The potato side was soft, just a bit confused if it was meant to be crunchy or not. The salad was okay but I've seen better salad sidesVery unfortunate that the atmosphere was not what we were seeking, as we were basically surrounded by the older generation and younger wait staffs, and is similar to eating in a pub rather than a restaurantNote that being inside a golf club, means you'll also need to sign in as guests

A sensational meal for all 14 of us. Catering to all tastes and needs. Fantastic service and great atmosphere.
