Ichi Ramen
After I gave a negative review some weeks ago, I went back to the restaurant. Seafood and vegetables were fresh and the staff were so nice and attentive as usual. I like the way they serve cold sake. They remember their customers and greet them nicely - Shene is the best. Well done for the improvement.My old review belowI think the best thing about this restaurant is the friendly staff. Sake is good and the price of the food is reasonable but food is not fresh sometimes. Avocado in my salad was grey instead of green so I asked them to change it. They did but it wasn't better than the one in my kitchen.

Food was good but the service and cleannesses are well below average. Servers got their head down on their phones with no intention whatsoever to serve the customers. Forks, spoons and cups we were provided had oil and food residue as if someone just used them. Replacements were no different that we had to ask for another swap and at the end, had to clean our own.Will not come back.

we had a nice dinner in Box Hill, the place is really nice and the staff make you feel comfortable. We had vegan ramen and chicken katsu ramen, the broth was rich and the vegetables were fresh, really few vegan choice.

Ichi Ramen
Convenient eatery near Box Hill station. They have a large menu offering all kinds of Japanese dishes. It's one of the few places which offer omurice so definitely give that a go. The yuzu ramen on the seasonal menu was interesting.I wouldn't recommend if you are after authentic Japanese but their wide range of dishes and drinks make this a great place for groups.

Food is quite nice here, relaxing and peaceful atmosphere, staff are alsofriendly. We ordered 2 pork ramen with perfect level of spice. Shame that only 1 piece of meat otherwise would give 5 stars if at least 2 pieces. The fried chicken is also tasty but not the best I’ve had. Overall great place!

food is great! I wonder why it got ratings only 4.1. I’d give 4.5+. Only that the restaurant is at a relatively open area, so it’s a bit cold in winter when dine in here..

Nice quality food in a relaxing environment. Ordering is by QR code but staff are still attentive and friendly. Lovely ramen place that also serves dishes like udon and omurice.

Japanese style restaurant serving ramen and rice dishes along with some Japanese tapas dishes. This place perfect for quick bite or drinking with mates. The spicy ramen is actually spicy so tread carefully there. The dry ramen is chewy and refreshing. They also have spicy pickled vegetables for free on each table.Food - 8Service - 8Vibe - 7Price - $$
