Just joined affordable fitness. Great local gym! Great prices, friendly staff. Thoroughly recommended!

A word of warning: you sign a contract for 3 or six months but the small print says they can keep charging you INDEFINITELY after the term is up, unless you give 4 weeks notice in writing. The Billing name is Debitz so easy to overlook. I discovered I'd been paying for three months after I stopped going, then they asked for another four weeks payment as a condition of cancellation.

Just a review of the gym floor not the classes. It's not a lifters gym, perfectly adequate for maintenance or the casual visit. A little snug, no lifting platforms, has some free weights, cables, and enough machines to get you through. Reception staff are friendly, covid compliant, individually allocated cleaning spray and wipes. No real atmosphere, it's just a small space to fit in a quick sesh and be on your way. Looks like a good selection of classes if that's your thing.

I love this gym! All the equipment you need for your fitness goals. Affordable options and cleanly, fun classes. Overall a very friendly and welcoming environment for all ages, shapes and sizes.

Great facilities that I've used for years. In my view very good value. So guys, how do you get 5 stars? Really easy:Simply enforce these rules (and it's almost invariably the boys blokes that break them....)The no towel rule. I have no desire to sit on benches covered with others' sweat. Bring a towel and use it.Phones. It is NOT appropriate to hog a piece of equipment and take three minutes between sets looking at YouTube.Bags. Pretty obvious really - they're a trip hazard and you don't want to be sued!These rules" exist; they're simply not policed. I know the staff are young and may feel uncomfortable if they're seen to be telling people off

Reasonable priced gym $18 week for annual membership, Very popular Zumba classes. Good weights room. A shame no water fountain.

A OK local gym, you can definitely get a good workout in with free weights, and a decent variety of machines. They’re not the newest ones, but does the job. The worst part - cleanliness. Especially around machines and gym floor.

Just moved into the area and thought I would give this a try as I’m used to fitness first. Was really impressed! Everyone was super friendly, all the equipment I needed was there and available when I wanted it unlike bigger chains. Best part was no gym junkies staring at you whilst you work out. Signed up long term there now.

Great local gym right in the hub of Balmain! Great group fitness classes, wide range of weights and cardio equipment! Very clean and best thing is they fully support the PCYC who offer a great service to the youth community locally! Also family owned which is very rare these days
